Jnd, what the hell?! I am going to demand an explanation for that move yesterday, we need to make some decent lynches to save some of our players and to stop these blasted robberies, what on earth possessed you to rob us of our lynch?

My thoughts why: I'm in several games with him, in each one he's been throwing around a bunch of theories and has been a pretty high-profile player the last few days, but in this game it's been nothing but unobtrusive posts that don't draw any attention to him. Kinda like submarining, but not dropping completely of the radar so he appears as active and participating but really has added nothing to the game (as far as pertinent info goes).

Adding to the scum tells is the fact that he jumped on the RB bandwagon late (who turned out town), but never voted jnd (who's probably his unlynchable scum-buddy). I think the whole jnd "lynch me" thing was an orchestrated move by the scum to get us to waste our lynch yesterday.

Just an idea, might be wrong but this game is slowing down again.

I wish we had a vig to take out jnd. Wasting our lynch yesterday was a mistake, and not something that I could see a townie making us do. On second thought though, would the mod really make him an unlynchable scum? Oh wait, the mod is kwanton, so who knows.

He's actually the unlynchable mafia godfather. He can't be lynched or nightkilled and investigation results always say that he is innocent. Even if you investigate someone else.

I have to admit that nearly all of what you say makes sense. Except that I'm not scum. As I've said elsewhere, I'm pretty busy lately, which affects my posting rate everywhere. It's true I was active in Wandlore Battles yesterday, but that was nothing more than attempt to get the game going again and up my activity level a bit.

So why didn't I do it here? Well, for one thing, I find this game hard to get a grip on. In part because of my role, in part because of the game structure. I really don't have anything new to add and it took enough time and energy to overcome that in one game

The little information I can offer you, is that I have not been robbed yet.

As for jnd, I'm not sure why things happened the way they did, but it's obviously a waste of a day. It looks like jnd knew it would work out this way and that he deliberately caused us to lose a lynch. I'd vote him for that, but that obviously isn't going to do the trick.

The two possible explanations I mentioned above are

(A) he's unlynchable. I don't think I ever saw a lynch attempt on an unlynchable role, so I'm not sure how that would work out. If I were the mod, I'd let the lynch fail but the day continue. That didn't happen, which may either be a mod choice or a sign that this theory is wrong.

(B) a mayor saved him. See the above.

The only lynching me will get you, is my money. It won't get you scum and it won't get you any clues.

One additional line of defense, though you may of course reject it by observing that I'm deliberately doing the opposite here of what I'm usually doing:

When I'm scum, I don't submarine. I kill, I lie, I cheat and I spin, but I talk. Because when I'm scum, I know exactly where I want to go and what I want to achieve. Here, I know nothing.

I've never really gotten the scum vibe from Koesen, but I'm thinking we should maybe kill him just in hopes of sparing Firth. He said he got some back, but how much? Since we did not get any yesterday he might not have much more to survive another day. Let's just make sure he votes first though before we decide on he kill.

That's a good idea actually. No one should put the last votes on someone before we're sure Firth voted for them. Remember Ex? #-o

I'm not sure about Koesen, and agree that this game is pretty damn tough with little leads. I'd like to hear from everyone as I suspect some submariners.

I am a powerless townie. Which is a tough role in a game where clues are so rare. Those of you who are vanilla townies too will be able to verify my claim by the statement that "I've really had it with those burglars".

You won't lose much by lynching me, but you'll waste a lynch and you'll get no information.

Koesen, your defense makes a lot of sense and I believe it. You haven't really dropped any good scum tells and my logic for my vote is weak at best. I'm just throwing around any random theories that I can because kwan hates us all and gives us nothing to go on and for once, I am a confirmed vanilla townie and I've got more then enough money so I can draw all the attention I feel like on myself.

Lynching Koesen may be a short-term solution to firth getting some money, but in the long run it hurts us (if he really is town) because that's one less player the scum can steal from, so possibly putting others in worse danger. How low are you firth? Will you die in the next day if you don't get any back today? firth is our doc and needs to stay alive at all costs, even if we've gotta lynch townies to get him money.

I've got more to elaborate and another theory, but I'm pressed for time so I'll be back in a few hours after work and do so.

Could somebody helpful make a list of people who have been confirmed with reasonable certainty as townies?

I believe Exile, Ga7 and Kalishnikov are town. I know I am town myself, but, well, I guess you have to make up your own mind about that

Who else?

At the very least, we can narrow down the list of possible suspects.
