I think Edmonton needs a little "x-" [clinched playoff spot] by their name on the next stat sheet. If I remember correctly, the NHL is an 81 game season. The best the 9th place team can currently do is tie with Edmonton.

it's an 82 game season and I will be adding the x,y,z to the stats on the next update as teams are getting close to being locked in to the playoffs.

I am still waiting for Atlanta to join three games with myself. If he is not playing any more i think the rest of the matches against Atlanta should be awarded to the other team by default as there is no chance that they are making the playoffs.

I don't think that there is anything that can be done. it is a long tourney and I knew there would be drop offs, but I didn't realize there would be so many.
