Our resources will totally disappear and we won't be able to adjust with this current rate of consumption. Capitalism working things out on it's own??? Hahaha! Capitalism's very essence is that it needs to continue producing and selling and making profit or it will collapse. It will suck every last fucking cent out of the ground and try selling it back to us for $5. Just wait til they find a way to tax oxygen. Sound stupid?? Well I'm sure as hell think that paying for food and a place to sleep (rent or mortgage) sounds pretty fucking stupid to me. Who the f*ck has the right to own land at all?? Assholes.
Also, predators over hunt an area and die off until that area can support them again?? That doesn't sound like a very natural cycle. Infact, that sounds like humans, not any other natural cycle. Animals (and alot of indigenous cultures (ie, not western)) would manage to live in an area and sustain the environment without overkill. That would mean going out and killing or collecting food - and only what you need to eat. Not (as it is nowadays) to go out and make as much money as possible (enter capitalism) - Where the end result is a gluttonous overkill over resources (and then western civilisation wastes all this excess food and resources. Ever gone dumpstering out the back on supermarket bins?? So much GOOD food thrown out every day because packaging is damaged or something bullshit like that. Go freegan!)
