Haha, good try Neph, but a) this wasn't my team that won, we're not quite on that level b) I go to school in Worcester, but not to Holy Cross (Clark University, anybody?) c) if nobody gets this one, I'll change it. To be honest, it isn't even a "hippy school", so to speak. We hippy schools are cooler, though. Dudes.

Fine. Colorado finished second, so I'll give you it. The correct answer was the University of Wisconsin.

word! don't know why colorado just came to me, i had a friend who loved ultimate from CO, maybe that's why.....
okay, sticking w/ wisconsin: brett favre has the all-time longest streak of games started for QBs. on sunday he tied Mick Tingelhoff for second on the all-time list for all positions (240). can anyone name the all-time leader? he had 270 consecutive career starts.....that's truly incredible.
bonus points if you give us a genuinely funny joke using the last name "Tingelfhoff"

He had a chance to hit a last second FG to win the other day, but the holder couldnt handle it.

You know what, i remember who it is, but not his name...
He was the guy for the Vikings that ran the ball the wrong way on a fumble or something, if that helps anyone get his name...

No, it was way before Warren Moon...
The guy ran the fumble out of his own endzone and started celebrating, until he saw his teammates...

I'm not terribly confident with this, but I'll go with Jackie Slater.

The only thing I know about him is he was a Viking and he started about 300 straight games, but unlike now where a player only plays on one side of the field (excluding the Patriots) I belive he played on the offensive and defensive line everyone of these games, a real ironman

All right, to return to major sports, we all know Cy Young holds the record for wins (as well as losses) in Major League Baseball. His record of 511 - 300-something will surely never be passed in either direction. Who holds the distinction of second-most Major League wins?
