CC's BIGGEST LOSERS

Post by Robinette »

On the 1st page of the scoreboard (top 250) there are 31 players that have a win rate BELOW 35%...
That means they LOSE about 2 out of every 3 games...
These people are LOSERS... and they know defeat intimately
They are experienced at LOSING, more than any other players with high scores...

And if that wasn't enough, 8 of these 31 have win rates BELOW 30%...
Truley they are the WORST of the WORST...

And 5 of the 31 have played less than 200 games... 10 are under 300 games

Sigh, now I have the stigma of being a LOSER, your facts of course are not as accurate as you would like them to be.

Alot of those players play terminator.... What this means is they can take out 4 or 5 players get all their points, then lose to the last player. That means they lost the game but won most of the points. Which is the stratigy most look for in a terminator game. I would rather win the points than the game. So if i am a loser by your terms then I am A LOSER.

I do not think of each game as a war but a battle, the battle for points the war will never end but there will be multitudes of battles

Born to lose, baby. I had that tattooed onto my forehead, next to the eagle with the enormous penis. The AMERICAN EAGLE.

I don't see the issue ... some people play a lot of six player ffa's ... they lose more often, but they win they get a larger amount of points.

I mean if you have a win rate of 30% and your games are mostly six player ffa's, I would consider that quite good.

I could be wrong, but isn't that what Robinette is really saying?

Also, when will the next update of this list be? I've been on the front page for the last two days, and this is one list I might actually be able to make, and I really, really want to be on a list, but I'm not sure I can hold my position for much longer...

I'm a loser
I'm a loser
And I'm not what I appear to be

Of all the love I have won or have lost
there is one love I should never have crossed
She was a girl in a million, my friend
I should have known she would win in the end

I'm a loser
And I lost someone who's near to me
I'm a loser
And I'm not what I appear to be

Although I laugh and I act like a clown
Beneath this mask I am wearing a frown
My tears are falling like rain from the sky
Is it for her or myself that I cry

I'm a loser
And I lost someone who's near to me
I'm a loser
And I'm not what I appear to be

What have I done to deserve such a fate
I realize I have left it too late
And so it's true, pride comes before a fall
I'm telling you so that you won't lose all

I'm a loser
And I lost someone who's near to me
I'm a loser
And I'm not what I appear to be

Loser?

Post by RL_Orange »

Hmmmmmm, winpercentage for average players on single 4 players games 25%, 5 player games 20%, 6 player games 16,6%?

And if i am correct i am one of the players on cc playing most 6 and 5 players games. And just a winpercentage of 28%?

Maybe you should get a skill rate based up winpercentage divided to winpercentage for average players. last part corrected for kind of games played (doubles, tripples, singles (number of players).

Got some time to figure this one out?

RL, you might also want to add an adjustment for the quality of opponent you're facing - say you get a certain amount of points inversely related to the points difference between you and your opponent
2007-05-20 04:02:54 - gibbom won the game
2007-05-20 04:02:54 - gibbom gains 2252 points

Good one. I bet Robinette can put that in the formula too. She is really great in these kind of issues :-)

Robinette? Do you gather the gamestatics from the website yourself or do you have access to the game database of conquerclub?
