Almost all of those are cheap japanese imports. What about the classic ones like Civilisation, sim city and Tycoon or the Truly innovative ones like Total War.
Or at least an "other" option

For me it definatly has to be Total War, the gameplay is unmached

Since it's about which francishe I like better, it's pretty easy. IF it was about which games are better it would of been different.

Overall I like POkemon the best. (da)

But SSB has better games, and MArio would be around the same like as POkemon, Kirby, and Fire Emblem.

I can't vote.

My first instinct was to put Super Smash Brothers, because I play it way to much, but then I made the fatal mistake of looking at the other entries.

I saw Mario. Without Mario there wouldn't even be Super Smash Brothers, it was the first game I ever played. Plus there is almost Mario everything, but I'm not really with the Nintendo cult.

Then I see Final Fantasy, the first rpg I ever played (not counting Telengard) was Final Fantasy 6 (even though it was called 3 but I learned the truth quickly). It really changed my attitude towards games in general. I became RPG obsessed. I have played every rpg ever released, even the ones I didn't understand. I haven't beaten them all, but I'm relatively familiar with every one. I confirmed this with gamefaqs when they started dividing entries by game type.

That said, Final Fantasy isn't the greatest gaming franchise. Sonic, while fun, is laughable as the 'best' franchise. Zelda I feel the same way, I get Zelda has a lot of a following, including myself really, but it doesn't sell nearly as much as some others on the list.

Which leads us to the demonic entity that is Pokemon. I found this incredibly fun when it first came out... But then there was the show... and then there were the cards... and it just spiraled out of control. I really believe it has outsold all on the list. But I refuse to vote for it.

So I can't vote.

I like a lot of the stuff it makes. Meh, part of the reason I voted for it is because I like the whole thing of Pokemon better then the rest.

FF is fun, but I haven't played it enough, or much. And as I said in my last one, those are the ones I like a lot.

Id still vote Halo if it was there. Btw, Halo Wars is an rts, and there making a Halo movie. Does that not make it a franchise?

On the list, I voted for Kingdom Hearts. I think the FF franchise is better, but I enjoy hearts more.

Off the list, well, there is Civilization, Pro Evo, Call of Duty, plus many more.

(It's hard to seperate a "series" with a "franchise")
