They called it a leviathan at the beginning. I noticed the switch too. But, a leviathan and the kraken are both mythological sea monsters, so I'm not surprised that the words would be used interchangably.
I thought it was OK. I laughed and that's what I expected from a Pirates movie. I didn't think the special effects were as neat this time around. But, I think it would be hard to top the living dead thing from the first one.
I just thought the bad guys were nasty looking this time.
And I didn't get the timing of the beginning. Did Elizabeth know they had taken Will? Did she think Will had stood her up? Was she sad because it was raining? The timing was weird.
