I met a girl named Mehealani pronounced "Ma-HAY-uh-la-nee" once. She was nice so it stuck with me as a nice person's name.

My Welsh friend suggested Anwen - which she claims means "very beautiful" - of course she could just be saying that to make me look like a prize plum, when really it means "goat-herder" or something as equally savory!

So how about Gwyneth instead? Or does that remind you too much of the type of girl who cries her eyes out, just because someone gives her a silly, little, gold statuette?
