MCR has helped so many people by their first two albums it's amazing. They may of made depressing music, but the emotion in that music was so intense and real that it helped people. SOAD may of helped someone be free from a prison, but MCR has helped 1000's of people feel better about themself, which is more important than someone from a prison.
yeah, i went to a concert and every other fan under the early twentys was saying...."you saved my life/u helped me when i was in a difficult place". and i was one of them...sure some may be depressing...but the emotion it conveys....its unparraleled. ill use im not okay as ull know that... its about if ur feeling bad and like u dont wanna go on just say it, let it out and ull feel better for it...
On the subject of bands helping people and portraying messages. Nickleback give worthy life messages.
If everyone cared shows what the world would be like and things that have happened in the world to show how the world has changed and people that helped it
Rockstar shows how obssesed people are with celebs.
They have made a real diffecerence in the world.
NICKLEBACK- MADE A DIFFERENCE lolo9lolololol, outa your league cena...
rockstar- thats a sh*t message, and if everyone cared- how many songs have that meaning- soooo many.
thank you sam this is the first time I'm agreeing with you, Cena Nickelback is a shitty poser band, in case you didn't notice, this was an argument about
good bands
and Sam when I mentioned I'm Not Okay I didn't mean it was a bad song what I meant was Its the worst song from Three Cheers (which isn't bad) but IMO every song from Black Parade is worse than that
and okay I'm starting to see how important saving thousands of people from a gutter is, but did you notice I was just using an example?
here's more stuff SOAD did

System protests about a little known thing called the
Armenian Genocide
you can read the article, but basically a long time ago the Turkish Government committed what is considered the first modern mass genocide against the Armenians. Somehow the government kept knowledge about the event secret from the rest of the world. Many historians say that if the rest of the world had known about this, it could have prevented the WWII Holocaust because the Allies would already know the dangers of dictators and would have taken Hitler out before he was too strong. The current Turkish government denies that it was genocide and SOAD is here protesting to the government demanding amnesty for the Armenians (btw all 4 members of soad are atleast part Armenian)
