Personaly, I am not a fan of Pink Floyd (just never really liked it), and I really do not care for rap, because people try to pass it off as music, but it just isn't.
-Almost all rap/hip-hop sucks, with a few exception songs that are only half rap
-Classical music just bores the living shit out of me
-and country, for the most part is annoying
I'm not sure if this is a type of music, but I don't like music that has constant pauses in them, and I'm not saying it's any specific kind of music that does exist in the current world.

I like Pink Floyd and "classical," but not rap or country, although I don't think that necessarily means they don't constitute as music. Other than that, mostly contemporary Top 40 stuff.
Rap in general. And Nirvana. And anything with pig squeal. That pretty much covers it.

All this alternative rock shit on the radio, shouldnt even be considered rock...
And the punk/emo shit, which is basically 130 pound men singing about how much it hurts that they lost "the one" and feel the need to scream in high pitches about how much their life sucks and wirst cutting, etc.
There's plenty more, but thats the worst IMO.

just for clarification, I don't mean classic rock if thats what your thinking
the rap; some rap's fine, particularly weird al, but i can't stand the ones about a girl's ass or whatever....especially party like a rockstar and the song flyin' high (ballin)
i'm fine with country. it's better than rap, at least.

This is a serious stereotype in the music business at the moment. People looking into this "emo" cult as worrying trend and fashion statement. This is typical of modern society looking to far into everything. All it is a change in the way teenagers choose to be different to gain attention.

You classify Wierd Al as rap? Thats parody, as in taking a song and poking fun. It should technically be put in a comedy category, but definately not rap. I really dont even think hes very good, seeing as all he does is make funny words over music already made for him...
