other than a few minutes here and there of his clips popping up on my feeds, i didn't listen to charlie kirk much. i mean, mainly because i did think he was kind of irritating to listen to because he was a bit of a smart aleck. but the thing that did stand out was, especially at the end of the conversation he had with those kids where he could see they actually were genuine in their discussion, he would make it known that his intention was not to think for them, rather help them to think for themselves. and to not just take what the professors were trying to jam down their throat as the gospel. i did a year of college and i know how the professors are. i'm just happy i was there before the trump years, because i think trump really acclerated the all in nature of politics.

i mean, trump is saying things that democrats said just a decade ago, and now democrats have to say the opposite. it's silly really and i don't understand how a person can just act like it didn't happen. or when democrats use lawfare, but complain when trump uses it. for the life of me, it's just makes me lose hope that the country is that stupid.

Updating the investigation into Charlie Kirk’s assassination Sunday, Utah Gov. Spencer Cox told NBC News’ “Meet the Press” that the suspect was in a romantic relationship with his roommate, who is cooperating with authorities.

“What we have learned specifically is that this person did not have any knowledge, was shocked when they found out about it,” Cox said of the roommate.

That person “is a boyfriend who is transitioning from male to female,” Cox said, misgendering the roommate. Cox was confirming earlier reporting from Fox News.

The roommate has been “very cooperative,” Cox said.

That tracks with what a federal official close to the investigation told NBC News on Sunday.

There still is “not a solid understanding” of how the personal relationship factors into the attack, the official said.

Asked on CNN how the roommate’s transitioning was relevant to the suspect’s motive, Cox said, “That’s what we’re trying to figure out right now.”

There was no secret meaning to Goofy, it was just the most polite insult I could think of to call someone who wished their parents were shot.

All I was saying about moving out was basically, your parents job is to keep you alive until your 18, looks like they succeeded. it's over before you know it, the best way to get back at them after that is defy them and still succeed, which appears you have done. Congrats.

I will not say too much more about Duk and his parents for now.

I will say that Duk is focused too much on "gotcha moments" in Kirk's videos and that Duk fails to comprehend what is really important is his willingess to listen to and debate with College students to engage them and get them to THINK and to question their perceptions. I think many students who disagree with him have only a superficial, myopic, and very narrow view of the World, influenced too much by social media and videos.

I do not have the audience that Charlie Kirk did (and NEVER assumed that I have that much influence). I did encounter a student who called America "misogynistic." I told her how women are treated in Arab/Moslem nations and in India (where wives were often killed by the husband's families). I said read the articles on these subjects that I provided (from reasonably balanced sources) and we will discuss her views again, LATER. She did not make such accusations in front of me again. I do not know if I got through to her, as I gave her time and space to process what I shared with her. In order to avoid alienating her from me in my Chemistry class, I decided not to push the matter. If she viewed me as BIASED person who could NOT understand her viewpoint, I think she would have largely "tuned me out" and she may have then failed my class as a result of that perception of me. She struggled in Chemistry before I challenge her claim of a "misogynistic America." I did not need to make her learning more difficult.

I am sure her worldview was formed by Social Media and was very narrow and myopic as Social media allowed her to find others who shared her worldview, reinforcing those perceptions. She did not get a more balanced and wider point of view on many topics; instead, she lived in "silos" with others who viewed the world as she did.

My Dad was in the military, so I moved often and lived in several localities. I thought most of the people who lived in one place all their lives had a very parochial and limited view of the world (their "silos").

1) Use normal font size?
2) Use complete sentences, with correct grammar?
3) Avoid use of ellipses? That is usually a horrible and lazy way to write. That to me indicates you are lazy and do not form and express coherence NOR reasonable ideas. Your rambling style also strongly suggests that this is true.

Let me discuss ONE small part of your post:

Why bother? First, urine is largely sterile and does not contain lots of "bad stuff."

Between 91% and 96% of healthy urine is excess water. The rest consists of: Salt (sodium) Urea (a protein waste product) Uric acid (a nitrogen waste product)

Methods can be used to remove such things from water, but I suspect that would be very expensive. I assume that such things (other than sodium ions) can be decomposed naturally by ever present bacteria. So again, why bother? Thus, it is a poor or even terrible analogy.

Let's dig a bit deeper. I agree that "the Left" has done things that are contrary to common sense, law and order, and what are considered by many to be solid American values. The craziness of SOME Leftist is rather apparent.

BUT you paint the ENTIRE Leftist values and positions and people as a MONOLITH of evil when that is too broad a description to use. NOT all who espouse SOME of those ideas are THAT evil and most do not use violence. Your shallow analysis does little to advance the discussion, other than annoy some of us, it seems.
