That said, Trump surrogates campaigned so heavily on it they deserve to twist in the wind over their failure to produce a list. In a hyper competitive environment it's not unreasonable to expect parties to appeal to the LCD. But to keep it from getting out of hand, there has to be a political risk of doing so.
