Well, it's easier for you to check the role on mafia wiki. The gist is that the mod sent me a message last night because Max has chosen to reveal himself to me as the friendly neighbour. That confirms Max as town. Well, to me anyway. The rest of you just has to take my word for it or lynch either one of us to check.

Max can explain himself why he chose me, but this only proves Max's towniness, not mine.

Good point, that is if we do not have another retired cop as per the script story. And if we have cop, will be interesting if he received any info we can work with.

Well i thought about that. But then I would have been accused again of checking the role of a person that has confessed his role. and porbably if Charle is mafia he would expect that and sent his partner to make the kill while staying quiet

For what it's worth, I currently trust myself, Ragian, Loose, and Max as town for the moment. I think Traf is still exceptionally suspicious and has done nothing to alleviate those concerns, and I don't think Charle claiming vanilla town (which almost every town and non-town role generally wants to claim) means anything whatsoever that would put him above any of Dev/homer/king who could presumably say the exact same thing. I think I mentioned this before, but I'm also still away for the next week and have very limited free time so will pop in at most once every 1-2 days.

I agree with you Kong, and I have to add you into that list (but would be less firm on you than the others IF Traf were to flip Arsonist)

Dev was I think committed to voting Traf just before I pulled my stunt.
Perhaps if the theory is that Traf is potential Mafia then Dev is less likely Mafia.
Again it all depends on what Traf is.
I don't think it was or still is hermetically sealed what Traf is.
A lynch of Traf today was the option I had in mind when I pulled my stunt yesterday, and that still is a viable probably to me the most viable option.

The thing is as actual suspicions of mine go, I'm just down to 1 player now I mis vig'd Strike.
And there's 3 (maybe 4) out there.

I don't know if we go for forcing a claim out of either King or Homer?

About Jim "wild" Meeks - retired cop.

Could be an actual cop in this game or could be not a cop at all - just distributor of sonics goodies.
If an actual cop could be a standard town cop, or a mafia (corrupt) cop (perhaps day).
Even if truly fully retired could be town or mafia aligned (possible mafia traitor).

The "wild" might indicate sonic randomly assigned Jim's alignment and role.

Only Jim knows for sure.

Also not being a recipient of one of sonics goodies personally and therefore not knowing when they were distributed I can't guess whether they were distributed to likely town or likely mafia (from Jim's point of view)

What I will say is if Jim is a townie, but not an actual cop, just distributor I think he should come forward.

My doubts about Jim play(ed) into my doubts about Trafs guilt being hermetically sealed.

I'm not sure I'd believe a Jim town cop claim d4 unless a Traf mafia or arsonist flip had occurred D3
So I guess there is a dilemma for a Jim town actual town cop as to whether to come forward d3.

The Traf (claimed) investigation of max n1 (although credible), is still what casts most doubt on Traf for me. (for me a town Traf investigating Dev n2 would in itself be credible)

If a town cop has a guilty verdict, it must be shared. Such a swap is beneficial to town any day of the week. If a town cop has two innocent results out of Kong, King, traf, homer, and Dev, I'm likely to would have that information today, but it's most likely best to wait at least one more day. The cop, however, should make sure to have a lost of "presumed town" we can go back to if the cop is night killed (or if Loose fucks us up more :lol: ).

i've claimed town. and i'm willing to do it again. but.. i'm vanilla town so it's an easy claim to make and an easy one to doubt. at least if you guys don't believe me, we aren't losing a key player like we're on a streak of right now

i made the claim when multiple people were suspecting me. if that's poor game play, i'll make sure not to do that next time.

but seems to me, if claiming vanilla town doesn't really alleviate suspicion because anybody can make that claim, it also doesn't truly help mafia target important roles because, once again, anybody can make that claim

If we put me, Kong, Rag, Max as probable town.

Traf as highly suspect so a candidate worthy of lynching

Homer Jay and Dev were both I think committed to lynching Traf yesterday, so at the minimum less likely to be mafia buddies of Traf if Traf is mafia (though not arsonist)
Mafia might want a lynching of arsonist so they can concentrate on nightkills of town.

We'd still have to get another 1 or 2 mafia in addition to Traf IF Traf is mafia.

That leaves King and Charle.

An alternative strategy to lynching Traf today would be to go for one of King and Charle.
Thinking being we would have to do that tomorrow anyway even if we lynched a Maf Traf today.

Out of King and Charle, I think Charle's preemptive vanilla town claim yesterday was a get the heat off of him earlier than forced to having seen what happened with Traf play that is more suspect than innocent. So my preference under my alternative strategy would probably be to lynch Charle.

But since I've already played one alternative strategy this game with disastrous results I have no right to be confident that a second alternative strategy coming from me will carry much sway with Rag, Kong or Max???
