Scene will probably be late due to a family event running long. If I don't get it done tonight, expect it early tomorrow.

Sorry, been sick all day.

Vote Count

Pixar (5)-Swang, Fusi, Charle, Kingm, Devante
Swang
DDS
Fusi
PMC
Devante
Charle
Ewebasher
Kingm

With 9 alive, it takes 5 to lynch.

Day 3 End: Tensions

The group carried on through the day, the forest stretched on unending before them. One of the Alabasians approached a nearby villager, "How much further to the center?"

The villager in turn simply shook her head, "None of us have ever made it this far into the forest and returned."

"Then how do you know where we're going?"

She pointed to the thin light coming through the trees at their side, "It is still morning. While it is, we keep the sun to our right. When it is overhead, we take our rest and then continue with it to our left as it becomes afternoon."

He was about to ask a follow up question when a startled rabit ran across the path. Kim frowned as her eyes followed it, "Sam would have had a snare set for rabbits and other animals. Without him, our ability to hunt for food is greatly diminished."

"We packed well for the trail. We'll have food for a while."

"There's rumors that someone is raiding the food stores. Our supplies are Dwindling more quickly than they should."

He tensed wondering who would be taking the food. "Spirits?"

"Maybe but someone who has been ignoring rationing measures could also be possible. There's also the issue of water. After that man was discovered with that poison on him, some have dumped out their own waters rather than risk drinking it. The remaining stores won't last much longer than the food."

Discussions like this spread through the group. They opted to skip the midday break for fear of the Tensions mounting more when they had nowhere else to vent them. Eventually, though, some began spreading the idea that the one who first warned them was a spirit themselves trying to sow discord.

Kim watched as the group organized into a vote and soon were upon her. After the first time, they were more willing to take things into their own hand and soon, Kim had been slain herself.

Pixar-Villager Kim Williams-Vanilla Townie has been lynched.

Day 4: Enclosed

The night was weary for those out in it. After 3 days of travel and short nights, they were starting to feel the strain on their minds and bodies. They shook it off the best they could to try to complete their actions but as they move, the shadows played against the ground and they thought they saw other beings more mysterious and dangerous then themselves prowling at the edges of the camp as if sensing their growing weakness.

The hustle went unnoticed by Patric. Despite the unease of the day, he found that he’d slip off to sleep rather easily. It wasn’t long before he fell into a deep sleep. He didn’t hear anything as the tent was opened from the outside or as a darkly clad figure slipped into the tent.

The next morning, the group woke again. The weary from the previous night felt little relief from their brief sleeps and they wandered wearily into the town center. The leader commenced a role call and they quickly noticed the missing Patric. The group approached the tent together as if fearing whatever they found inside would jump out of them, none of them wanting to approach alone and none of them willing to acknowledge the fear of approaching.

The tent itself seemed undisturbed and they unzipped it quickly. Inside, Patric lay still, almost peaceful but his face was pale and a quick check of his pulse found nothing.

DirtyDishsoaptheSK-City Dweller Patric Baits-Vanilla Townie has been killed.

They buried the body quickly. None of them had the strength in them to dig a full grave and then proceed on a full day’s hike but they did their best to mark it with respect before setting out again.
The path ahead was thicker now and there were bushes with sharp thorns that poked and prodded them as they moved along. A villager stated that this was merely because no humans had walked this path in a long time but the group couldn’t shake the feeling of a warning. Of something attempting to force them back.

Day 3 starts. With 7 alive it takes 4 to lynch. Deadline is End of Day next Tuesday.

Morning people, this is a bad loss for us. I really liked DDS's game analysis and his posts made sense.

I took some time to read through all the posts again and will give my summary a bit later. For now, I would really like to hear what Kingm saw last night.

I tried to follow Fusi, and got no result again.

And the reason I picked Fusi was just because of the votes on D2 and D3:
D2: Vot (7)-Kingm, Fusi, DDS, Son!c, Charle, Ewebasher, *Pixar*
D3: Pixar (5)-Swang, Fusi, Charle, Kingm, Devante

So I expect that scum would be all aboard the "lynch train", and for that reason I would say the 3 obvious suspects would be myself, Fusi and Charle.
Since we are the only 3 who voted for both.

But our scum might be more calculated and cold, and gamble that we would lynch Pixar without them voting, but this is the only info we have.
But I have been way off on everyone so far, so I will just see what people say the next couple of days, anyone have any thoughts guys?

DDS is their best kill target. I was never going to vote him just based on the nature of posts...he was pretty clearly town.

We are down to 2 scum and 5 town. At this stage, the 2 scum will jump onto any vote that starts on a Townie pretty quickly to get a hammer so please be cautious with voting (this is especially true because at least one of the scum has not voted for each of the Town lynches so far so will feel emboldened to jump on a wagon with little fear of suspicion).

It is time to mass claim. Anyone who steps up first gets serious town cred.

I'm at a loss at this point. Doesn't seem like we can zero in on anyone and just keep losing town. I'll claim first

I'm Corl the Town Inventor. I can role block someone with an old piece of equipment I've researched and fixed.

Because of the continuous claim of role blocking role being used it is why I didn't understand how King could keep being blocked. To make it clear, I have not used any ability at any point so far in this game

I have no idea if I have been blocked or not, that was just one of the possible explanations of my results.

I'm Hunter Robert England, Town Tracker
And my results from using my ability is:
N1: I followed Votanic and saw him visit Loose Canon
N2: Tried to follow Sonic, and got no result
N3: Tried to follow Fusi, and got no result

No result = roleblocked. If sonic/fusi did visit someone it would say sonic stayed at home or whatever.

I feel very suspicions of Devs claim, someone is roleblocking the claimed tracker every night and we have someone claiming they are a Town roleblocker who is just choosing not to use their action?

Roleblocker is a mafia leaning role in general so a common fake claim.

I really wasn't suspicious of dev at all after the "town slip" yesterday but this claim seems fake. Why wouldn't you use your power? At least on people who have claimed or soft claimed vanilla? If they are lying you stop mafia, if they are telling the truth then no harm done.

I wouldn't pay too much attention to exactly who was on the wagons and who wasn't because I feel like we could have had every player on each wagon, no one defended either and my name is only missing because I am cautious of hammering too early.

Vote timing can be interesting I guess, but I don't see much here.

I haven't used it because I don't know who to use it on. Using it on King might have made sense but after seeing all the blocking chat on his tracker role and me being the blocker is why it didn't make sense to me to use it. If anything would have preferred to use it on a confirmed Seer. How could his role be blocked if I'm not blocking anyone. It's also why I liked us having a mass claim but then time was short.

At this point I have no clue who is what and last thing I want to do is waste my one block on someone who might be scum. But now I'm not even sure King is scum cause there's all these other roles possibly involved, and blocker was only one of them. I held off on Pix originally and had votes pulled back, I easily could have been the last vote there if I was scum. Only voted yesterday when we all agreed to move forward on a lynch.

Right now, you don't read town to me either. But you've also been helpful clarifying, so I got no damn clue. Frankly most of you don't come across one way or the other much. Vent over.

For now, I'm not voting for anyone till we get some things cleared up here. And if mass claiming is what's needed then let's get it done. I've stated who I am so lynch me if you want but it'll turn up as the truth

So you have one roleblock, not every night?

If anything would have preferred to use it on a confirmed Seer

I am confused, why would you use it on a seer?
Are you saying you pass it to someone else to use rather than actually block them?

Looking up mafia scum wiki, it does seem like inventor hands roles to others. In which case this role is just too complicated for you to have made up lol. FOS retracted.

Figured to use it on a Seer so their viewing couldn't be blocked. Given that's the role I'm most familiar with in Mafia games so far. Was going to use it on Tracker until this whole blocker chat started, then I wasn't sure if I was just handing it to a scum or not, sorry King just don't know.

What is FOS retracted mean?

Wow, ok, I need to play every mafia games that starts on this forum from now, because with all these possible roles and how they work, its just a facinating mind f*ck.

But back to the game, we need that mass claim if we want to get anywhere here.
How many has claimed so far? Just me, Devante and pmchugh?
So we still need a claim from Charle, Swang, Ewebasher and Fusibaseball?

But what swang wrote about a possible day kill, made me shit bricks, so maybe we should wait for our seer to reveal himself, if there is a possibilty of a day kill.

Still confused on your role, can you explain exactly what it does when you give it to someone? And king is right, I am retracting my suspicion, I read it that you were a roleblocker not that you were an inventor.

Re day kill, I wouldn't worry about it for town, no reason to give mafia an extra kill with the game balanced as it is. Seer results will be interesting given the kingm debacle.

The only role I wouldn't claim is doctor, as they can hold the other PRs.
