Peters Drive: is that a Canadian chain?2dimes wrote:So, this is a what to eat after the Biden Death Jab thread now, is it?
Well I guess I'll join in. We went to Peters Drive In as a reward for our daughter who was not excited to get vaccinated. I had a single plus tomato, onion rings and a Dr Pepper. Five stars, I highly recommend.

what did you enjoy, other than huge portions? and the "low" prices...! LoLjonesthecurl wrote:The food was great. It was a belated birthday treat, which somehow I ended up paying for. It's a pretty expensive place, but the portions were enormous. Even the curlson brought some of his dinner home.

I don't know if it is a chain. It was a single drive through started by a fellow named Gus Peters. I think there are three now.jusplay4fun wrote:Peters Drive: is that a Canadian chain?
I never heard of it.
We shared an appetiser of fried cauliflower with hot sauce which was v good. I had a tri-tip sandwich with avocado etc, the others had salmon, rack of ribs, taco. The small girl had clam chowder, as she almost always does. Only slightly disappointing thing were the shoestring fries. Not because they were a bad example, it's just not a great thing to do to a potato.jusplay4fun wrote:what did you enjoy, other than huge portions? and the "low" prices...! Happy Birthday..! HERE, pay the BILL, too...!
At our local East Indian place, they call that the Cloud Nine. I sometime grab an order when I'm driving past.jonesthecurl wrote: We shared an appetiser of fried cauliflower with hot sauce which was v good.
An utter disgrace! You know, I have half a mind to smash that basket over your head, then cram the rest of that ranch dressing up your nose just to teach your palate a lesson!HitRed wrote:DQ's chicken basket is the best. Always order extra gravy for the chicken strips and the Texas toast.

Everyone's having fun here, talking about enjoying some tasty fast food they liked in 2021, and friggin' Funkyterrence has to go ruin it, by threatening poor Red. Jeez Louise.
