Curious how some of us have to play round 1 when a majority get a free ride into round 2? Just luck of the draw? I mean I won anyway but just curious as to the logic there. I'm assuming you worked backwards from top 2 then top 4 top 8 etc then had 10 left over and maybe did a lottery to see which lucky participants got to play in round 1.

I use challonge and I shuffle the seeds. Yes it is all luck of the draw. I have a first round matchup myself as well.
