New Clan Rankings

The question I'd pose... to the CD's... is can anyone make and post clan rankings here? Something based on no math or methodology and without any explanation on how the rankings work.

If the answer is yes, does that mean 10? 20? 30? more people can post their own unique clan rankings here? If it wouldn't be ok to have everyone post their own unique clan rankings then this one shouldn't be allowed to be posted here. Perhaps the general discussion forum would be a more appropriate forum for this thread. Or create a new subforum within clans for casual unofficial discussion.

As for the rankings themselves... Maybe if ATL has a decent showing vs GON we can find ourselves moving up a spot

I reckon that it's posts like this that are the reason why ATL are firmly rooted to the bottom.

Relax a bit mate, not everything here has to be stick up your butt serious all the time. This thread isn't stickied or implied to be any sort of serious post or even ranking.
Its not suppressing or drowning out other quality content thats being pushed down by spam, and its even on topic about clans.

The chances of a noob stumbling into the clan area is pretty minimal, and the chance of a noob stumbling onto the thread and taking it serious when theres a stickied thread thats got regular rankings posted, is pretty rare. And if they bother to read the thread they should get the picture pretty damn quickly I'd think.

Yes clans have always been open for people to start their own rankings. Not all of them were math nerd porn either or convoluted methodology, we've had power rankings (glorified opinion polls), leap ladders (no math involved there) and F12, F41, etc were all just crap people came up with. I created one that was posted somewhere in this thread (another random ranking thread, I just didn't bother creating its own thread for it)

You act like having 10, 20, 30 unique rankings would be a problem? Hell, I wish we had that level of activity and people engrossed in the clan scene that we had to worry about quantity of posts, number of rankings, and unique personalities and takes on events and the clan scene. We used to have a area for general clan discussion (news flash, it was closed eventually out of lack of interest and activity).

Lets not kill the little spark and lighten up a little when someone decides to have a little fun around here. The Clan scene and site in general could use a little more of it sometimes, lest we all put on our suits and stare into the void click rolling our intensity cubes doing the same thing over and over until everyone slowly falls asleep or drops dead from boredom.

can we have fun in cheating and abuse forum ? it has its own posture, standing and so...similar with that, clan forum is another place with its own spoken or unspoken rules and customs....
to have fun, we have got fields forums for it.

ppl might have had done wrong posts before in the past does not mean we should keep it in the future.
his ranking does not show any quality, does not show any base, just a ranking out of a drunken head at the very night time before bed to laugh laugh and laugh, and even maybe more...

But I'm pretty familiar with both C&A area, and the Clan area

Clan doesn't have any unspoken rules about being a stuffy, boring place. Clans have always had lots of activities and postings, different opinions, thoughts, and even rankings.
Whether this one is "serious enough" to belong here, when the topic is literally clans is funny. Because if it was moved to GD they'd move it to clans because the topic is clans lol

Go browse some of the old archives mate, theres lots of drunken head posts and topics in clans history. Look at some of the old names of clans, people were having a go at it long ago having some fun.
Thats what we're all here for right? Some fun competition, but also you know....fun?

it is kind of CHEAT and out of sportmanship over new folks in the site to believe ICON and Ascension clans are two top clans.
New or recent talents, would believe then pick these two clans to join instead seeing REAL champions who they are.
