Because if Trump ends up winning, then the MSM, Biden, and many people on the left will think President Donald Trump "stole" the election because he challenged the certification of the results of some of the states. Certification will prove who is the President-elect. And there are some serious questions as to the certification on some of the states Biden currently has leads in.

I'm not spanish.... there has never been a formal referendum in catalonia (and yes... there people have put for the lulz 5 ballots to show they could do anything they wanted in this joke unofficial referendum). I wouldn't give a shit if catalonia left spain... that would just work against them. Spain was formed with Catalonia with the alliance of the queen of Castille and the King of Aragon. It was part of the kingdom of Aragon. It has never been a sovereign state of any kind. They have benefitted throughout the years of governments that helped a lot of industry to settle there, and if they ever leave spain... well that industry will leave, fair enough. There are a lot of sworn affidavits and other evidence claiming election shenanigans. The rules are not being bent, as you so describe. The law said no ballots could be counted if received after the election. Ballots were counted after the election. That doesn't mean they were fraudulent.
