Who decides the threshold for the IQ? Wouldn't any decision be arbitrary?jimboston wrote:NO. It wouldn’t.Evil Semp wrote:
Why not just ask who they want to vote for. If it isn't the candidate that you want then tell them they aren't smart enough to vote. Wouldn't that prove that their IQ isn't high enough to qualify to vote?

It’s fake news because that’s NOT the “one cause” Whole Foods doesn’t want their employees “supporting” DURING WORKING HOURS. You yourself pointed to another cause they don’t want their employees ‘supporting” DURING WORKING HOURS.DoomYoshi wrote:In what way is it fake news? They don't want people wearing poppies... which is a symbol of the Canadian forces killed in Europe... because they support the killing of those soldiers... by Adolf Hitler and his cronies and also the Germans during the First World War. They said they didn't want any employees supporting a cause... a cause which in this case included ousting the Nazis from France. That is one cause that Whole Foods employees are not allowed to support.jimboston wrote:Fake news... you have gone to the Saxi School of Lying Posts... but you have not yet mastered the technique.DoomYoshi wrote:Democrat*-owned and beloved-by-Democrats Whole Foods has finally come out in support of Adolf Hitler and the killing of Allied soldiers.

If it’s not legal then the employees will win their lawsuit. Link to that if it ever happens. I will not pretend to be a knowledgeable expert on the Canadian Constitution... so it’s possible my comments would be limited to the USA. That said, it’s reasonable for employers to set a dress code and hold employees to that dress code. It may be (in some cases) dumb in the “Court of Public Opinion” but it’s nit automatically illegal and UnConstitutional.DoomYoshi wrote:
You wrote that: "You know retail employers have a right to prevent employees from wearing politically controversial items while it work, it’s perfectly reasonable."
Um, no it isn't reasonable at all and it is not legal in Canada. We have this thing called Freedom of Speech. Maybe you should add that to your constitution or something.
Please show where the article notes the political party of Whole Foods Management.DoomYoshi wrote:
Anyways, after the spineless cuck Democrats were ordered to appear before the House of Commons, they cowardly gave up their support.

Maybe in most cases, but not in this case. The official position of the Ontario and Canadian governments is quoted below:jimboston wrote:
It’s fake news because you are making an illogical leap... failure to wear a poppy flower in support of Canadian WW2 troops is not equivalent to supporting Hitler.
In almost any case when you bring up Hitler it’s an obvious attempt to use enflaming rhetoric and a sign you have no logical argument.
Which proves that it is disgusting, disgraceful and absolutely unacceptable. Yet you accuse me of using enflaming rhetoric.So... what does this prove?DoomYoshi wrote:

The article doesn't need to note the political party of Whole Foods Management. For one thing, political donations in the United States are a matter of public record. For another thing, Democrats* by definition are evil itself, so any negative comments about them are ipso facto true. All evil actions are Democratic party actions and all Democratic party actions are evil actions, in all cases, everywhere. Please show where the article notes the political party of Whole Foods Management.
It already is illegal as per the constitution. Doug Ford is just going to pass a law to make it unambiguously illegal to prevent the obvious lawsuit that would come out of this.“Earlier Friday, Ontario Premier Doug Ford said he would make it illegal for businesses in the province to prohibit employees from wearing poppies, after Whole Foods said it had no plans to reverse the policy.”
In case you are not bright enough to follow... this means it’s NOT PRESENTLY ILLEGAL, but that the Premier intends to make a new law to MAKE IT ILLEGAL going forward.
It’s funny when people post article links that clearly prove their statements wrong!

So your ‘proof’ is basically... ‘because I say so’. Good to note.DoomYoshi wrote:The article doesn't need to note the political party of Whole Foods Management. If it were unconstitutional he would just sue and not have to make a law. In fact it’s possible the law would be unconstitutional.DoomYoshi wrote:It already is illegal as per the constitution.
