So I did the rankings, matched up 1w24, 2w23 up to 8w17, and positions 9 to 16 randomized in random.org.

Been trying to find a way in challonge to generate the bracket for 24 participant and didn't manage, so I generated it in excel and will use that after group Stage, that is if I can't find it until then.

Hello all,

Group Stage is almost over and I am coming to everyone involved with a question.

The Tournament format that I had in mind when I started this was to send first 2 of each Group into Upper bracket and 3rd position into Lower Bracket. Challomg has something similar https://challonge.com/7m10GS/bracket, but It's not 100% as the one I designed in the google docs one https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0.

With that in mind, I would like to use the Challonge bracket because it's easier and automated and to give byes to 2nd placed in that bracket so the format remains the same as the one I originally had in mind.

Posting this on the forum aswell.

I will use this format, unless any of you involved objects to it. If i don't get an objection reply here or on the forum I will consider this settled

What do you mean?
The number of players and the bracket dictates that. So whenever you have x Players in Upper bracket, the maps played are those for Upper x.

For example now, we'll have Upper 16 players, so same maps as group stage. 8 platers will fall into Lower, and there will be 16 there also, they will play Pot mosby, Baltic Crusades and Texan Wars, and so on.
