benga is suppose to send you and JD a PM about it before posting, for some reason tie breaker rule never get posted at the begin with, he/we want to come up with an acceptable tie breaker match that you and JD would accept.iAmCaffeine wrote:what an extremely necessary postjosko.ri wrote:Whoever of them advances, that team will anyway lose in quarterfinals because they will face unbeatable Skillfull Croadians who had all 14 wins in Round Robin

I’m assuming benga is working it, will check.iAmCaffeine wrote:do we know what the tiebreaker is yet?
Can the same map be used twice in the home set?Mad777 wrote:hey team leaders, from the recent PM i sent and to make sure it is clear to everyone, a team is allow to come up with whatever map for your bracket stage first round, map chosen for this 1/4 final to be the same to be use for the subsequent round, you can shuffle between dubs triples and quads but you can’t add a new map after that bracket stage start.
exemple:
team chosen 5 different maps for the set (1 dubs, 2 triples, 2 quads), the team is allow to switch map between game type for the next round, but can’t add a map that is not listed from the initial bracket stage round.
Settings can change as you wish between bracket set
Players can be shuffle as you wish between bracket set, any added players (if you have less than 6 members) or any substitute used is part of the whole Subs rule, remember that a player must have played at least 30 games to receive medal/prize.

If team chose 5 maps in quarterfinals, can they change later to 4 or lower number of maps (with one map being repeated twice or more).Mad777 wrote:yes, no obligation to have 5 maps, if a team wants to use the same map for the entire set it is up to them...the only restriction is as soon as the bracket start only the map(s) chosen can be reuse as wished for the rest of the bracket stage and for any game type.

yes, as long as the remaining map are all part of the initial choice from the quarter final.josko.ri wrote:If team chose 5 maps in quarterfinals, can they change later to 4 or lower number of maps (with one map being repeated twice or more).Mad777 wrote:yes, no obligation to have 5 maps, if a team wants to use the same map for the entire set it is up to them...the only restriction is as soon as the bracket start only the map(s) chosen can be reuse as wished for the rest of the bracket stage and for any game type.

No, the choice from the 1/4 final is taking precedent for the subsequent stage. If you chose 4 maps for the 1/4 final the. you would only have those 4 maps to carry on to the next stage of the bracketCaymanmew wrote:Ok,
Can a team choose 5 maps for the knockout phase but choose to only use 4 of the first round, then bring the 5th in the second round.
Example.
Team says their maps are: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England
Round 1 they use: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal
Round 2 they use: France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, England

Yeah 3,4,5 it is. Can these sets differ from each other within the same stage or they have to be the same for the same stage?Mad777 wrote:no it’s 3 home set (1/4 final), 4 home set (1/2 final), 5 home set (final) for the highest seeded team, 2, 3 & 4 for the lower ranked team.

each set can differ but you may only use players and maps from the preselected pool prior to start of playoffsjosko.ri wrote:Yeah 3,4,5 it is.
