So we're giving people slack in the tune of weeks on updating score threads due to the stress and craziness of the current pandemic. That sounds fair and reasonable.Jdsizzleslice wrote:My comment was not geared towards wars that had already ended, but wars that were still ongoing. The "slack" I am referring to is updating the score in the title of the post of the ongoing war. Sorry for the confusion.groovysmurf wrote:You're giving people "slack"...is that a joke?Jdsizzleslice wrote: Right, we cut people some slack, especially right now with what is going on in the world. My apologies for not updating the title in a while. I need some of that slack.
I got a reminder 12 hours after the last game ended in our war vs OSA for CWC.

Every day, first thing I would do when coming on CC is check if the last game, Game 19623759, had ended. And yet I come on to find I am being "reminded" to update just over 12 hours after it ended. Is that what you call "slack"? Especially considering I've never once failed to update one of my threads on a weekly basis as advised.
On the other hand 12 hours after the final game ends in a war we have people being publicly confronted for not updating the war thread. Even ignoring the pandemic expecting people to be on every 12 hours is unfair.
Like Honestly why the f*ck do you guys even need it updated within 12 hours if you are going to take another week to close the war? Do we give slack on closing wars as well?
Basically you guys publicly shamed her for no reason even those she is the absolute best on updating her war threads. Meanwhile, you take your sweet time to do everything. Weeks to close wars, months to close tournaments and competitions.
It's fucking shameful.
