There is still time to reverse this madness.
Going back to last mod vote count.

Current votes:
  1. Tobi
  2. BuJ
  3. Skoffin
  4. ZB
  5. dakky
  6. Ragian
  7. chap
looks like he was here for the L-2 but didn't accept it.I think we should still give him time to respond though.

That's L-2. I think your points against Tobi are good. If you are town and lynched, I think he becomes my biggest FOS.

unvote

f*ck sake, guys. I mean, I'm voting him, but there's no reason to put him at L-1. What is scum hammers? What if a dumb townie hammers? What if he was a hated townie (is lynched with majority minus one vote).

I'd like a VC to check if I need to put my vote back on Pershy.

How much time is left? I believe with one more vote, that's it, people won't be able to retract their vote. Or is that only the case if the moderator is on?
So, one more vote and it might be over, so no more votes if we think anyone has something to say.

I can back out, but so can 7 other people, so it won't be me this time.

If someone is just hanging out with nothing to do, please explain anything that might be useful, like scum hammers, for instance.

Sorry Ragian, I just glanced at your post when it blocked my submission. Saw the line about scum hammers, it caught my attention, but I didn't see your unvote.

Glad someone is paying attention. I'm not sure I'll be around to fiddle with my vote, not if the day ends at 3 am.

I second that Rage. Badly played town!

I am town wiretapper - a leech.
Detective role.
I attach undetected to one prey during the night and receive the result of their night action.

Now read back among my posts and see why that is so hard to fathom and why the hell I am getting voted in the first place!

That was a typo:

"What is scum hammers" was meant to read "What if scum hammers". By taking pershy to L-1, a scum could have jumped on and lynched him or as a rookie townie, I may have. That was what ragian was worried about.

Oh, I see, then he couldn't have made a claim or a confession or whatever it is he just did. We would have just had a death scene.

He's a leech. I still don't know if he's a good guy or a bad guy. But, that's for someone else to figure out. I will be paying attention to the discussion and will change my vote if warranted.

I don't follow the crowd just to follow the crowd. I try to make sure it's a good crowd. That's the rational thing to do while learning. I don't have a mentor, so I kinda pick up on who can make a rational explanation. A good lie is harder to keep rational. Doesn't mean it can't happen, but I don't have a better strategy. A lot of honest people can't give a rational explanation, so we will probably torment plenty of good people while trying to find the scum.

Seriously guys?

Let me just add that this is a PROVABLE role! Not some ol BS scum can make up.
You don’t believe me? I’ll tell your your night action result!

FOS Sirius btw

Seriously I probably won’t make it to D2 so check out Bujabber, Sirius and possibly Tobi if I don’t on D2. I would put them on my suspect list at the moment judging recent events.

Obviously I could be wrong, scum could be playing me too by defending me, but I’m sure more than one vote on me is scummy.

Actually I’ve been mulling it over some more. Of the votes on me I think tobi and Dakk are misguided town.
Tobi started the train pretty much. I don’t think he’s scum.

Zabeast and others however got on that train. And quite surreptitiously.

Zabeast, bujabbs and Sirius are possible scum being opportunistic.

Note I say possible. Anyway y’all can explore it some more if I die in tonight. Just getting some random thoughts out there while I still can.

To be honest Sirius is using the newbie card too much as Pershy said.

Deadline is in less than 12 hours and I'll leave my vote on him but as Rage unvoted I don't see the lynch possible, we won't learn anyone today and a lot of talk for nothing....... he did claim but everyone would claim town and what's the purpose of pushing to claim anyway then.

Note to town: don't use your powers against me because you will not find me... or use but the result will probably be something about not finding me :D

Every wiretapper I found online was scum. That being said, I'm not painting pershy as scum, just throwing it out there for discussion/elaboration.

I guess we'll find out Day 2 if he's still alive.

Also,

Why didn't jfm NAME his role. He just told us what it does (or part of what it does).

His description was ambiguous enough that alignment can't be determined.

It doesn't matter anymore, deadline in 10 hours, it's either we lynch someone and have evidence why and when who voted who (voting patterns as I said already) OR we don't lynch anyone and go to D2 like D1 didn't happen except the claims but those are probably invaluable as no one will believe them anyway.

It isn't even really that provable. "I used my power on [insert scumbuddy name]. Shows he role blocked [person he probably actually did role block since mafia role blocker is a common role]." Scumbuddy, "I can confirm that's what I did."

I still want to look at a couple things real quick but I plan on voting Pershy and going ahead with the lynch. unvote

I'm willing to join the pershy lynch now. I was on the fence earlier, although as my response to BuJ pointed out, I was OK with the lynch outcome if it happened. But his recent comments about Tobi really made me suspicious, because Tobikera is not at all one of the realistic lynch targets for today, and pershy going after him screams to me some combination of OMGUS and desperately trying to find something to talk about to deflect from his own behavior.

Also, the wiretapper claim is extremely suspicious indeed. That's a scum role. Town have cops.

Out of deference to strike and anyone else who wants to wait until later tonight, I'll hold off the actual vote.

You know how this sounds to me... 10 hours left and Pershy at L-1 and you unvotes him and that's the only wagon which can be completed and only which can give some information. But you unvote like you're asking for someone to vote for Pershy and you will hammer because you've already set an action in place. FOS

OK, pershy, at least you claimed. And, as you say, it's provable.
So here's the deal. I'll remove my vote, and you attach to me tonight.
Tomorrow (D2) you tell me what I did on N1. IF you are correct, then I'll accept that you are town, AND
you will know that I am town as well. Of course, if the scum targets either of us, it probably won't work.
Until then, IGMEOY.

Metsfanmax wrote:This is a blatant misrepresentation of my posting record. I had several posts on other topics, including dakky's choice to instantly go after jfm, and I criticized several other people for the jfm wagon as well, including yourself.
Well, okay then.
Commenting on the jfm wagon being silly is not the same as accusing anyone on that wagon of being scummy. Since I didn't accuse anyone on that wagon of being scummy prior to BuJ's question, I feel that your reaction to my post was essentially an unfair "gotcha" that looks bad out of context but in context is not unreasonable.
Pika wrote:Going back to grab that quote did remind me of another thing I took issue with though:
Metsfanmax wrote:(Who, I'll note, gave "one of the clearest possible indications that somebody is scum" according to you, and who you have nevertheless just unvoted.)
Nice of you to deliberately omit any and all context from this quote, which was specifically in reference to jfm10 having not fully claimed. What event could possibly have occurred between these two posts I wonder?
I didn't take exception to you unvoting in light of evidence which made unvoting seem like the right decision. I took exception to you being way overconfident in jfm being scum prior to that evidence coming out. You (and everyone else) should have reserved judgment better.
Now, dakky21. *sigh* Just... why?
I also want to go on the record as stating that I don't see dakky as scummy today. I think he's been all over the place, to be sure, but it really reads to me as town play from him. He's honestly trying to generate cases and spark discussion, and he's been prodding people to go on the record about what they're doing and why, which is solid town behavior.
