just came across a topic id like feed back on ...should a banned member be able to play on site again ...clearly paulatpeace wasnt allowed back farming was his crime ,,,should a member who ran secret diplomacy with others to cheat be allowed back ?? whats the time frame on banishment??

I like law inforcement but there is a part of me that realizes we need members. Short bans would be my choice.

If I am understanding correctly, you would take back someone to gain numbers, who was responsible for driving people away?

Paul was farming but the main reason he is banned on site is because he accessed many TOP players' accounts without permission and posted on forums / sent PMs from those accounts, which is strictly forbidden even if you're covering turns for that person. You should get informed on situations before commenting on them.

Too many to list. One in particular - we were discussing actual friendships that have been made on CC (I amazingly have made a handful of friends here that will last forever, 2 that are in RL / nearby). One brother I met was 2000 miles away but we had plans to meet for a race and hang for a weekend. Totally wonderful guy, new wife, new baby, bright future.

He was killed by a deer jumping into his motorcycle. Happened 2 months before we were gonna meet after becoming close friends over 6 years here....widowed a young lady and left a 2 year old daughter fatherless.

Douchebag simply made fun of it, ad nauseum, VERY inappropriately (even if that wasnt bad enough).

Oh...he also made fun of my mother dying horribly from dementia.

Yeah, I rallied HARD to kick his ass out.

Unfortunately, Big Wham wouldnt give me his home address

I do think that players that cheat should be banned for life. It is an honor to be allowed on this wonderful site. I know a lot of people think that family members of cheaters should also be banned..but that may be a little harsh. I would suggest just immediate family!

premiums are handed out like candy for free just to keep the flow of games going.. after 13 years & only roughly 5,000 active members still hanging around.. maybe the problem isn't the members..

the problem is the lack of attention to all aspects of the website.. & the overzealous mods creating problems.. ( try clicking on 'Other Games'.. it's a joke...)

also mods should not be active players.. it makes them biased towards certain members they play with or are in groups / clans with... if their 'friend' does something againist the rules.. are the truly "unbiased" in their punishment...?
