Relax dim, my only point is polls in the foundry (yes all polls) won't give an accurate picture of what the community as a whole thinks. Should you PM everyone? No. Just realize it not an accurate measuring stick, so a favorable response here does not necessarily equate to a favorable response in the entire community. Should it stop you from making a map? No. Just don't be disillusioned in the end.

you said my poll wasn't accurate that's why i was a bit jumpy. and belive me i won't be disillusioned at the end for the simple fact i don't have many expectations. my map is like the GTR2 game. a good game with few fans because it's a really hard game because of the simulation. while the other maps are like NFS carbon. still a good game great fun but a different type of fun. so both are good games but each of them is designed for a specific segment in the market.

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Age of Merchants Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

yeah i had this really nice message thanking people and CC timed out. :(

so short version:

thanks to all those that helped me with this map from the ones that posted negative comments to those that posted constructive feedback and especially those that hepled me with the actual work or by supporting me via pm or email. you all know who you are so i won't make a list here. you all have my gratitude for convincing me to go further with what seemed a crazy idea. i hope this will be just the first of a long line of crazy idea maps. see you all in Prison Life...Money and Respect and soon in Evolver.

thanks again guys and gals. =D>

thanks mate. it surely was a long effort and it surely won't be my last. hopefully my future maps will take less convincing even though they'll probably be even more complicated.
