I think that he means your rank. As in if you look at the score board an check to see what number you are. That is what he wants. I think that it is a good idea. And it cant be to hard to program

Ya that's true.. Either way, though, I wouldn't have this too high on a priority list because it's only a little bonus that would slightly improve the sight.

true but its not as if it would take much programing. It seems like something lack could do in 5 minutes. Not even long enough to disrupt someones turn.
The average rank? When would that be decided? Once per day, once per week? I mean, the numbers used when calculating this must come from some spaces in time. And rankings/scores changes all the time. You can drop in and out of rank a few times a day. And with the new ranking system, how to take into account the old one? Dunno if it's that easy to do. At least one has to lay down some principles for it before doing it.

Also, for people who can't see it within a few pages... does 15679'th rank (random number) mean any more to you than 14365'th? I used to keep track of my rank, but then I found that the numbers were so large, it was meaningless for myself to keep track of. I see why the people in the top 250 would, though.

It would be nice to see a global ranking in the profile view. They only way I've found to see it is to manually search through the global high scores table.
It shouldn't be that hard to link to the scoreboard, it depends how Lack handles the scoreboard. It might add lag to the site though as the number could potentially be changing every second, for every player. Perhaps update the position at the end of the day to reduce lag effects?
