Same question from me. I could put together a damn fine team for Greece but if it has to be my country I could probably find enough Irish players, although you haven't actually said how many are on a team.rousseau72 wrote:Thats a great idea Zeus.
Have one question to confirm - our country is the country we live in (where our IP address usually shows)
Many people like me live in one country (Japan) but are citizens of another (USA) I am happy to represent the country I live in though - Japan. Count me in as a team captain. As Captain - I contact the others in my country then?

We're going with the country you live in now. Anything else and it'd just get way too crazy. The teams are going to be between 4 and 16 people ideally and the countries that have many more interested parties (such as Canada) will have a pre-competition to determine who will be making up the team. Any help you can provide in bringing more people to represent Greece would be much appreciated!Conchobar wrote: Same question from me. I don't think that is a really good idea to go on with this part. Playing a lot of games will average out bad dice, that should be enough. What you suggest won't work I think, everyone get bad dice at least one during a game. Each country will have a team captain as we're implementing a bad dice clause (teams will post consistently bad rolls in chat with a possible rematch to be made upon review). The goal is to try and make this as fair as possible. Games will be tournament style so foes are not an issue and will be team vs team.

We know that the dice thing may be difficult, but we will sort out the logistics on that soon.Donelladan wrote:I don't think that is a really good idea to go on with this part. Also, do you plan to make polymorphic game, team games, 1vs1 or multiplayers games ?
Team games were the original plan (trips and quads), but seeing as how much interest this is getting, other game settings could certainly be considered. Maybe each country ends up with 12 people representing it and each round all 12 people could be in a game. Maybe have 1 quads, 1 trips, 1 dubs and 1 poly or 1v1 game. That makes it more inclusive for people who shy away from the team aspect.zeus111 wrote:The idea of bad dice clause is so if a team rolls for example -40 or greater and after review by all team captains we expect a few bad rolls its a dice game but on the off chance one teams white hot and the other just gets steam rolled and its obvious dice were the factor a rematch would occur ...tournament is being scored on a point system to the highest points tallied goes the title and were working on a few prizes as well.
