Dude, the NFL player is exercising their right when they kneel. The guy who sees this and says "You are an idiot" is also exercising his right.

So why are those who are so upset with this not also upset with the many direct violations of the U.S. Flag Code that happen at almost every televised NFL game? Why do those direct violations go un-whined-about but this kneeling creates so much angst?

In addition, why is there no angst over the line of folks standing at the concession stand during the playing of the National Anthem? I guess it's ok to be trying to feed your face, but it's not ok to take a knee?

It's the hypocricy that I find so damning about almost all of those who are complaining about this simple act of peaceful protest.

Naw, this last Sunday the NFL players protested because Trump gave them a bunch of shit. They weren't protesting for whatever the hell Kaeper was protesting that's for sure, they were doing it for their own reasons. The main reason is giving a middle finger to Trump.

Actually, their "main reason" was to protest the person holding the highest position in our Federal Government making statements about taking action against those who were peacefully acting within their Constitutional rights. This list ranges into the thousands. Completely understand if you don't want to read 1000 false statements and the research behind every single of one of them, but at least read the first or 2nd page, perhaps you'll stop slobbing his knob and open your eyes for a change.
