So, partial knee replacements can be a real bitch to recover from this time of year. You know, changing seasons, first snow falls, wacky temperature changes. Even percocet only does so much at times. But, its going a lot better than my ankle surgeries did. I'll say that.

He's gonna be a car salesman. From all accounts, a sweet job if you can actually sell 'em. And he's a natural charmer.

Depending on the lot and how it's managed, fast food might be a lot less greasy than selling used cars.

Agreed. I used to have a games shiop, and I would actively discourage buying certain games. Not refuse to sell them, but if I thought something was a rip-off or just naff, I would heavily recommend something else.

he decided he couldn't be so far from his daughter after all - back to NJ, though he does have two interviews lined up over there and somewhere to live, so more organised than he usually is.

Yeah, he came here 'cos his roomies moved out and he couldn't pay the rent on his pwn, also he lost his job over there at about the same time. Worryingly, he is to live in the basement of his ex's mother's house. What could go wrong?

I hope and pray he can find an affordable place very near them and a job he enjoys. He obviously has good intentions and that goes a long way in life as you and his mom have demonstrated.

Well, fast work - it seems he has a job (subject to background check) with T-Mobile, selling phones. Which is slightly ironic as his ex does the same with Sprint.
