abusive language and the class of people on this site

Hello,

So someone got mad at me for attacking him and called me a cunt. I'm a guy so I'm not personally offended myself. However, I believe this word shouldn't be allowed to be used in public sites because it's offensive to women. So I reported him. And instead of finding a moderator that could determine in the abuse forum whether it was abuse or not. All I got was more abuse and ridicule from people in the forum. I don't know if they were moderators or just guys trolling the site, but the abuse forum doesn't seem to be the place to report abuse, or this site has declined so much that anarchy reigns.

Hey OP, you will get an answer from a mod in the c&a forum though it may not be the one you want.
The site takes a relaxed view on language in game chat and you will likely get the advice to foe and move on.
Meantime quite a few folks here have some learning to do: that to make a welcoming community similar rules of behaviour exist online as in real life. I doubt your opponent would have called you that if you were playing over a table. Being abused always takes a bit of pleasure out of one's day, and one hopes the abuser is going to summon up enough empathy to cut out that crap and remember you're a human being out there over the ether.

It's all good. I don't say anything online I wouldn't say to someone's face, but many people aren't like that and like to act all tough guy when online. This guy played like an idiot and we'll both lose the game because of it.
