Its a game, people like to win games, get better, etc from their point of view, it gets them angry when they play well and someone does something that doesn't make sense.

Neither is really "wrong" but some take it more seriously than others. Play your game, foe people you don't like and enjoy

for f sake grow some balls it a game of war. go ask your mummy before u play with big boys, most players it is just banter. some play to have quick wins some like a slow long build game. find a group u like playing same style and stick there (meaning foe the ones who don't like your play style leaving you ones that are ok with it.)

Considering you play mostly 4/5 player games and have only won 11%, I imagine some of them rightly get annoyed. However, there's no reason you can't just play the game to have fun. People often say things in the heat of the moment, right and wrong. If anyone bothers you a lot you can go onto their profile and foe them, then they can't join any game you're in unless it's a tournament, and you can't see anything they say in game chat.

Also, I understand you may not want to analyse every turn you take - and generally in speed games that's harder to do anyway - but that doesn't prevent you from taking a few seconds to think about what could happen if you make a certain move. I bet you have more fun winning than losing.

I play team clan games to win 100%. I've spent well over an hour analyzing a single move (and yes we won that game). I play individual games to win, but won't put the effort into them I do for team clan games. If there are 15 different moves, I can quickly pick out the 3-4 best of those, but to determine the absolute best of those 3-4 takes time, time I won't always take in an individual or poly game.

I usually assume people aren't going to max out every single move, where I would tend to get upset is someone making one of the 2-3 worst possible moves for them that screw my game, but when you join with random teammates or non 1v1 scenarios (3 person games, 7 person singles, 9 person triples ect.) you have to expect that, and even more so with lower ranked players. So it upsets me, but I have to just let it go.

You don't get to the higher ranks without putting the time in to learn a map really well or put the time in to optimize your moves. For you this may be a super casual way to spend a couple minutes a day having fun. For some people on the site like my buddy rock above me they play to win every game and put in the time needed to plan their moves and win. If I'm taking a turn on world 2.1 or First Nations or hive you can bet I'm putting 15-20 minutes worth of thought into the turn seeing how the opponents played figuring the best reaction identifying what the next three players are likely to do given my choices of a move. I don't expect everyone to put that amount of thought into a turn but I also don't expect those people to beat me.

The Salt being thrown your way is normal even though it is annoying Af. Foe and move on is the best option. Or switch to 1v1, poly or team games. Most of the players on this site aren't bad to their opponents usually it's hilarious when they are. Now to team mates that's another story I will get salty with a teammate and expect they will do the same to me when I screw up. It's all about working together and getting better.

There are other parts of this site and community that are fun to take part in. Don't get too caught up in the dramas of people who spend a quarter hour "optimising" their turns. For them, the fun of the site has a different meaning, and is likely to exclude others.

There are other things to try:
Join the forums, play forum games, get angry about politics or movies in GD, create a map of your own, find a clan or usergroup (or start your own!), suggest ways to improve the site, brave the chat rooms...

There will always be people who say that you aren't doing it right, but...
