Losing points is not a goal, it is consequence or side effect of changing way of playing from complicated to simple maps. In one hand playing simpler maps is beneficial for getting medal hunting quickly (and that is why I am doing it) while in the other hand consequence of playing simple maps as Public games is losing many points because lower ranks join games.

Are you choosing the timing of when you switch from playing complicated to simple maps in such a way that you personally benefit from the timing?

I choose which maps I am playing based by my availability. For example, I start new job on May 1 so I played tons of simple maps in order to achieve Gold Polymorphic medal before that because after May 1 I will not have a lot of free time for CC anymore. I achieved my goal of getting Gold Polymorphic medal on April 30 and since then I will not make any new games on simple maps because my medal hunting goal is achieved.

I Don't think I will have enough free time in May to play complicated maps.

So on that basis, in May, you won't have enough time to get a medal on the most improved leaderboard. Let's see what happens.

I'm curious as to why you didn't mention this from beginning. Your initial reaction was to defend your actions. How peculiar.

I am sure that I will not start new games in first 2-3 weeks in May, besides the ones which I will play as part of my ongoing tournaments because I want to focus my time on new job.

Similar thing happened in March, when I increased my score by almost 2000 by winning these kind of games throughout the month:
- Won 3 Battle Royales
- Achieved 10 wins out of 19 games played in 12-player games (53% winning rate while expected winning rate is about 8% for 12-player games)
- Achieved 2 wins out of 4 games played in 8-player games (50% winning rate while expected winning rate is 12.5% for 8-player games)
- Achieved 4 wins out of 6 games played in 6-player games (67% winning rate while expected winning rate is 17% for 6-player games)
- Achieved 16 wins out of 18 games played (89%) in team games
- Achieved 59 wins out of 71 games played (83%) in 1v1 and Poly public Speed Games on Classic map

As you can see, I did not play any maps which are my "speciality" unless if you think my speciality is Classic map, or tournament games versus random opponents where it just happened that I had achieved excellent result in March.
For reference, the last my games played in March when I went from 3rd to 2nd place on Most Improved Scoreboard were these two games (check the timing, last hour of the month):

Now tell me, am I "Specialist" for Classic map, because it is obvious that I played speeders on that map when I wanted to increase my score in the last hour of the month? Also, I played that map 71 times throughout the month, which was my the most played map in March.

Don't be a bigot, you may be misgendering josko. In the past josko has identified as male, in 2017 it pays to check before gendering people. josko has some achievements to be proud of. Whilst we are asking the rules to be enforced so he can't grossly abuse the spirit of the game, we shouldn't lose sight of the fact that josko has contributed a lot to the site. The site would be worse off without him.

The accusation is not valid so that is why I cannot make valid response.
I still do not know for what I am accused. The best you could word your accusation is that I deliberately start my games on simple maps by the end of the month. My valid response to that accusation is that I am allowed to play any kind of games anytime, there is no restriction on the site about which kind of games can be started at which times and therefore I am not breaking any rule.

ok don't like defending josko lol. but 66 out of 95 games are tourney/ clan games. some of the remaining 29 games are mixed wins and losses. so to me the thing does not look big enough to warrant the charge

I won't take my time counting, but josko went from general to capitaine, winning apparently ( he claimed so) 60-70% of his game on doodle and lux, so there is definitely more than 100 games to consider.

well, you think climbing from a captain to a general in a month (no cheating, just winning normal games) is easy? you have to give him credit for that. i once was competing hard with him on the monthly leader, i did extremely well, but he beat me fair and square. he's got some paranoid thoughts, and some attitude. but he's one of the best players around. he's not a coward, and not violating the rules.
i'd hope for him to stop hunting the monthly ones. at least not every other month. but can't force him

He was medal chasing and got his medal. Have u ever medal chased donelladen ? When u are so high ranked it is easy to lose vast amount of points because you are playing lower ranks. So 30 point loss for a 7 point gain.

This is not the case of all these games that he lost where is the evidence he threw them games there isnt any. So someone chased a medal lost a lot of points doing it, omg lets go back to before these new leaderboards and would there be a complaint about what he has done ?
All other cases were blatent abuse because they would finish losing games but keep all winni games running until the 1st of the month. So apart from clan and tourney games like i said josko has 29 active games left on the 1st of the month and these games have a mix of wins and losses, so this does not show any form of manipulating the score board.

There is also another rule that common sense prevails which obviously hasnt been used.

Second, you missunderstood the case.

The case isn't accusing him to delay win / speed loss in order to get a medal ( which is allowed by the way).
Here josko.ri is accused of gross abuse of the game, gross abuse being playing games that will make him lose points ( using the excuse of medal hunting) and stopping to hunt the medal 1st of the month in order to get the most improved medals.

Now let's be very clear, what I described above are facts.
By playing manual on doodle and lux, even trying to win,it's obvious josko will lose tons of points. And by stopping to play those games on the 1st of the month, he is then having a shot at the most improved medal.

Now the question is only, is it abuse or not ?

My point was it's not abused even if he is doing it in purpose because he can player whatever games he want whenever he want.
Caff ( and some other ) is that it is an abuse because he is preventing player that really improved at CC to get the medal ( or smthg like that).

If there weren't any sort of game manipulation here, then there was at least an exploitation of when the games ended for the sole purpose of getting in the top ten monthly scoreboard. Even though there is no rule in "slowing" or quickly playing your turns, it's so easy to take control of how a game can be played out. It does look shady but still, for immediately comparing this with a past case involving a scheme that was done in a massive scale is still incomparable and the details of each case are different. Betiko simply wanted to catch up but to suddenly play several games with one player in one day and coincidentally winning many of them just in the nick of time - does look fishy. I strongly advise that for anyone who wants to catch up or improve their ranking on the monthly scoreboard, play with different people and play your games as honestly as one can.

No one is going to be removed or replaced from the monthly scoreboard out of this but this report should serve as a warning for the accused not to play like in those games again.

You could (not saying it will happen) apply the verdict to this case as well.

I played two games on these settings against Josko. He had lower points than me and I knew it would probably result in point loss for me but we went 1-1. Both of us tried. I see no problem in what he is doing.

Like, there are people who genuinely deserve the most improved medals and who are players actually getting better at the game, and have worked hard to do so. Meanwhile you have this arrogant dickhead deliberately getting his score as low as possible by "legit" means, so that he can then shoot his score back up for another most improved medal. Has he improved? No.

Sorry but I don't see anything wrong w what he's going. We all medal hunt at some point or another. We all aim for high scores now and then.
He's not delaying wins on a massive scale nor is he throwing any games or anything else. I don't wanna see it legislated what we can or can't play on our time here. It's just a medal people, get over it.
What josko has done is time his medal hunts vs normal play to a point that maximizes his medal output which frankly should be applauded.
I find this play a lot better then some of other recent C&A posts of this type for the monthly medal.
The only thing I really have any complaint about w how josko has handled himself is the C&A cases he brings against others. I'm 100% ok w him playing to win the medal, but it gets very old seeing a new C&A about someone beating him. If that stopped then I really don't have any problem w him trying.
