I agree and I believe Ragian is the best choice, whether he killed Mitch or not. If he flips scum like Legion said, at least we have one town confirmed for real and one scum down. I don't see other options.

I may be repeating myself but Ragian's claim as jailer would be too risky if he was scum, especially in a setup where everyone could have an action. Lynching him for more info doesn't make sense if he's more likely to be a jailer than scum.

Can someone explain tomme how exactly a godfather role works when it comes to being investigated? I ask because Mitch investigated legion and he came up clear could of always been redirected but for now we go on assumption it landed correct target why would it show clear if he was skum

And ultimately we can always lynch him later if it turns out his claim is proven false. So even though he may be guilty, we do not need to be in a rush to kill him immediately. So I'm now changing my mind and actually leaning against lynching him today, given the two rather strong bits that 1) Ragian probably wouldn't target mitch and 2) Ragian made a claim that would be very risky if he were scum, and the fact that legionnare's argument has been circumstantial from the beginning. It seemed powerful at the time because we had nothing to go on, but it sparked a discussion that has now drawn people out more. I find it suspicious that legionnare is so confident that Ragian is scum given that he probably doesn't have any more information than the rest of us have, and the rest of us are pretty skeptical that his description of the events is the only possible one. I think that legionnare is exhibiting a kind of cognitive bias where he thinks that because he did something that could fit with the story, in his mind he thinks it's more likely to actually have happened that way. That doesn't make him wrong, I just think he's more confident than he should be.

I'm leaning towards instead: vote DirtyDishSoap. His arguments have been ridiculously scummy all day. Accusing Ragian of making wild accusations, harping on the "he didn't post his claim within two hours," etc. He sounds very much like someone who is desperate to force a mislynch no matter the cost.

Sort of. I asked you specifically because you were prominently saying that a D1 lynch was not a good idea, so I wanted to know whether you thought a D2 lynch was a good idea, and if so, why. Your answer kind of confirmed my suspicions: you said that we should lynch someone because we have a lead. This kind of pro forma thinking is antithetical to what you were expressing on D1, which leads me to believe that you're changing your philosophy in order to make the argument you wanted to make anyway. No lynch on D1, which helps scum; lynch Ragian on thin evidence on D2 just because there is some thin evidence, which could very likely also help scum.

Mitch would have died last night however the killer's action was delayed from night-phase to day-phase; by me targeting Ragian. I wasn't sure if my action succeded last night or what it achieved until the mid-day scene just now.

To perhaps better explain it, whoever I chose to target (Ragian), their action would be delayed until the day-phase (Mitch's day death). It is the best explanation that fits.

I know I am risking getting targeted by scum tonight coming out with this but I feel 100% certain this will result in a scum lynch and is perhaps the best use I could hope for with this ability.

Huh? Legion is almost certainly confirmed town. That part is still true, I don't regret saying that, or any part of that post.

I want you all to think about this and see how strange this logic is. If I'm "playing everyone" and presumably therefore scum, what was my goal? To protect Ragian, who you also think is scum? Then why did I immediately vote for him and get a wagon going that could have lynched him? I'm not playing anyone, and the jury is still out on Ragian. But there's not enough evidence to convict, yet, and if there's a more informative lynch today, one that doesn't risk lynching a jailer, I'll take it.

1. I had unvoted due to the same circumstances, such as yourself, and I questioned something that I WAS USE TO. That's the real difference. I've adjusted my stance to it with a previous post as to why I had unvoted, and the only real "light" we've received is me with "scummy" posts. Again, no actual real evidence other than posts. No other lead other than "scummy" posts. Where in the world is the logic behind this?

2. So you're not going to refute that he's possibly Godfather? Or the bus claim? If that's the case, then Ragian is the perfect candidate for a lynch. Sure, jail claim, get it, and it would hurt the town substantially if we lose a role like that, but what other lead does anyone have here? As I had mentioned before, Legion would be our next best bet in the event he's lying about his role. No one is claiming a BD role here, and all bets are on Ragian and (for me) Mets.

3. Then why did I vote for Mitch and get a wagon that could have gotten him lynched and then unvoted?! It's, in essence, practically the same argument I've made, under different circumstances.

The godfather bit is a canard, a reach from desparation. Aside from the pure numerical chances of him being the godfather if there even is a godfather in the game, godfather is already a pretty uncommon mafia role in this forum. And I certainly don't expect a standard role like that to exist in a non-standard game like this one.
