First game Ben suicided his everything into me last round, for no apparent reason. He had also broken my bonus and placed his stack a bit before, but that is fine as I think I was slightly ahead of 113. Either way he had no chance to win especially after doing this.
Second game was much earlier when he for no reason attacked Patrick and kept attacking only Patrick, forcing Patrick to eliminate him. Once again this was without any gain for himself, but because of the fact that it was way earlier in the game instead of in the last round nobody really focused on it.
Edit: According to Josko's story both here and on my wall, Ben did not do what I said he did. I remember differently, but if others can support Josko's statement then this part is void. Leaving it up in case it isn't void.

I think of Ben has a friend, but I think my best bet to get this message across is by throwing it in here. We have a lot more of these games to go and I dont want more games ruined because of this.

I cannot comment about Senate game because I was not there but in World 2.1 game he did the same move like myself several turns later, owning Maghreb while trying to take Central America and Usa. We could see later that me doing exactly the same move like benbomb finally led to me being troop leader until the very end, so that was definitely move which could bring him win if only he was not unlucky and was attacked by 113 in Maghreb bonus.

As for Senate, it indeed looks fishy as he ended the game with 11 troops and 11 regions, so I guess it is true he suicided at someone in the very last round.

There are so many grey rules in this game. In the BR games people are complaining about everything. 1. Is it OK to miss a turn to avoid a card. 2. Is it OK to time out to avoid a card. 3. Is it a suicide or just payback "He started it"? 4. In a fog game can it really be considered a suicide when you can't really see what else is going on. 5. What kind of deals can be made to win?

I don't see any evidence here. Just 'ben attacked me', 'ben attacked Patrick'.

Ben had a stack of 144 when I took his area's in round 46(I think, gotta check the log), he ends with 11, how would that be possible if he didn't suicide?

Disagree, what you did was aggressive but functional, given that you came to first place later on. He just did it to attack patrick and kick him away from first place, (probably to help me, but can't confirm that). That's not in his own advantage, just in patrick's disadvantage.

By the way I wanna keep bennie on this site but tell the bastard that you can't suicide in tournaments and give him a good spanking, thanks in advance.

Your memory is correct, josko might think that it was useful, but that was not the reason behind ben's act, you and I both know that.

You all take this game too serious. The game should be fun. But all your whining and complaining makes me no longer want to play. PV hit Ben hard in ROUND 48 with no chance to win. Why was that OK?

I can see EW's point. In my game however, it was not round 50 and I was able to come back from it. I was leader at the time and angry that Ben did this but I wouldn't see it a "suicide". In the case of EW's game, it is fog and i can't actually see what happened. It does appear Ben suicided into someone and by the way EW is acting it was most likely him. Josko tried to make the argument at the end of the world 2.1 game that suiciding without a chance at victory yourself is against the rules. I have found no rule that specifically states this, especially in a long game such as this where revenge is so common. Maybe I am wrong since I don't go to the forum often, only speaking now because I got sent this link and I was included in the thread. Hope this gets resolved

From the log it is not very clear then Ben had his stack on Ron, but it is clear that I was on Fred. Furthermore we can see 113 on CNN and Tobacco, not bordering Ben in any way. With Ben's current conquers and the knowledge that he did have a stack (which is also not very clear from the log).

Since he attacked both me and afterwards went to PBS to check in on 113, it is not trivial to see that he did in fact suicide on me instead of on 113. From Ben's own statement here and chat reaction, I think it's still clear that I was the "victim".

You are right there is no such rule, however how unfortunate that is.

In the introduction to the game, and the fervent(mainly true) sales pitch. Something called diplomacy is discussed. Sadly there is a certain type of player that with no hope of winning, and bored out of their mind goes looking for someone that hasn't kissed their bum hard enough to unload on. Especially freemium players that want a game slot opened up for a game they could win.
