So, if no more sign up it looks like only 4 rounds and we get to start playing the first round of this while the finals of CC6 are going. Oh wow that looks like fun :/...at least Fallen would be in that boat with us, which I am sure they'll enjoy just as much as we will.

18 Clans signed up so far. With 28 competitive clans in total the finalists of CC6 will have a first round bye for sure.

This is the premier event of CC clan life, I would think it sad if a few clans were excluded because they were a few hours late. That said, I support any verbal "ripping of a new one".

I can confirm Lindax uses CCT.

I also believe there's no danger of someone not getting in that posted above, the deadline as I understand it is 2359 CCT on the 28th, yesterday was the 27th.

Lindax can confirm / clarify but from what I understand clans have about 13.25 hours remaining to sign up.

Indeed. I posted the bracket on page 1, see Bracket

There are 10 clans playing round 1:

RA vs LOTZ
OSA vs ATL
FISO vs TS
EGAD vs PACK
AFOS vs HH

For those clans the 6 Week Deadline starts January 1, 2017.

I'll send PMs and post the seeding, etc., later today.

Interesting Bracket!

Seems like FALL and TOFU should easily reach the semifinals again.

Hopefully, we'll offer a revenge to FOED or OSA in quarterfinal.

Big match-up to come in quarterfinal too between S&M and TOP, or S&M and The PACK, or TOP and RET...

How is it that we don't have match S&M vs LHDD in quarterfinals? S&M was seeded 5th and LHDD 4th, so I assume matches should be 1-8, 2-7, 3-6, 4-5.

I didn't seed matches, I seeded clans. I suppose there are many ways to use the seeding for a bracket. I used the same system I used for CC6.

If you seed the clans, wouldn't it be 1v16 and the winner of that plays the winner of 8v9, ect?

That's not how I did it. From the OP:

There is a limit of 32 clans participating and 8 clans will be seeded. The finalists of CC6 will be the first 2 seeds, the other 6 will be based on the December F400 Clan Ranking. In case of byes, the higher seeds will get those. The rest of the bracket will be filled randomly.

I placed the 8 seeded clans in the bracket and filled the rest randomly. The 8 seeds were placed according to a system I have been using for years, I think I got it originally from how they place the seeds in the major tennis tournaments. Actually very close to what josko wrote above.

Again, there are many different ways to do it, I stuck to what I have used before.
