Here me, oh multitudes of Conquer Club! I have come down from my mountain with a wonderfull idea that shalt turn your dull gray existances into a rainbow-like paradise of thrill, mystery and nutella-like pleasure:

FANTASY FOOTBALL!!!

The NFL season won't start for almost four months and that is exactly the right amount of time for everyone who is interested to sign up and for an agreement about about the league/draft format to be reached and, with some brave hearts and a favorable wind, for the draft to be done and the teams set u for Week 1.

Sorry Wing, but I had to change it since 1) we need players so I'm currently shamelessly sucking up to anyone willing to play 2) this is the only football that I follow ever since sheiks started collecting top soccer players like Pokemon.

It's no secret, it's just only used these days for sports. tzor2001

I have a few games I do on Yahoo. It's OK. I generally prefer ESPN but a Yahoo league is nice. Before they close it down.

As a Croatian I feel that I shouldn't be accused of bias if I point out that this indeed is fantasy football and the game you are thinking of would be Fantasy 'Pokemon - Sheik Edition' .

Which fantasy football would you be interested in?
The Premier league already started ... so we missed that one.
Major League Soccer (US) started in the spring.

Let me check to see if it is not too late for the Premier League on ESPN, they seem to be down at the moment.

If so, what format would you like?

Since I have only ever played in Yahoo standard leagues, the only bright idea that I have would be Double Size TeamsTeams:

If you guys want to play something with roles like WR/RB etc., I'm cool with it, I just wish that we play.

EDIT: Is everone ok with using the NFL Fantasy Football instead of Yahoo?

I've only done the standard yahoo public leagues, where half the players aren't playing anymore by week 5... so I'm not real familiar with other setups or sites. I'm willing to give whatever site or format a try though

As for a live draft time... maybe a saturday so it can be morning/early afternoon for US and late afternoon/evening for europe, without interfering with work? (I don't know what time zones everyone's in... I'm in Eastern USA)

I recomed browsing the yahoo's texts about fantasy football and draft guides. I played my first season last year in the passive uninterested leagues that Hotshot mentioned.

OK guys, there is 6 of us (yay!) so we might as well go about discussing the setup. I already posted my suggestion, to which I would only add that I am OK with both the 'Points' and Head-to-Head' systems. I am voting for HtH since it should make for better weekly trash-talk and also make the game more interesting for the begginers.
