Are you the kind of person who knows that the game begins at round 25?
Are you the kind of person who knows that you have to use the auto assault because there are not enough seconds in an hour to click through a 15,976 v 13,493 attack?
Is this your kind of insanity?
Then climb on board for a thrill ride to the upper elevations of spoils with 4 and 5 digits.
Screen shots from games I have actually played, so I know this is possible and fun.

Then this tournament is for you.
We will be playing: Conquer Rome
Doubles, four teams on a map at once
Escalating
Chained
Fog Trench
It will be round robin style. (I will firm that up as I see how may teams we actually have.) All will be eight players, four teams each game. The goal is for everyone to play everyone the same number of times. But if we get a lot of teams, I don't intend to give us an absolute, such that we drag this on years. The goal is still to be done within a year.
Although I want to keep things moving my intention is to not let the game load rise above 4. So premium only as this will be a lengthy tournament. In the beginning I will issue a new game every two weeks. After that it will depend on when we have completions. So I am shooting for 4 but one might expect 3, 4, or 5.
8 points per win, ties are not possible (no round limit)We finally have eight teams. So just to be sure before I get priviledges, everyone is still up for playing, yes?
With eight teams, I will be going with eight games. Match ups to be determined by random.org. 1st eight non duplicates that I can generate. I will also be looking to have you play each team twice.
Since these will be long games, I will issue them at a rate of 1 every two weeks, trying not to exceed four in play at one time. (That could for a brief period be 3 , 4, or 5 in play).
Again no playoffs, winner is the one with the most points at the end of the games.
5 points for 2nd, As most of these games will be decided by winning conditions, second being tied is possible so points will be divided. If 2 teams then 3.5 points ea
2 points for 3rd
Most points wins the tournament.
Tie Breaker
2. # of second place finishes.
3. # of armies in the largest bonus in the longest game. (Take your longest game, look to see what your last bonus was., Not your absolute largest bonus, although it may have been.)
