Conquer Club.com
This is the oldest site to play Risk online, but it is by far not the best. ConquerClub has been around for a long time and it shows. It's built up a large pool of players and maps, but not much else. The gaming interface is cumbersome and outdated, and the actual maps are pretty unappealing to look at. The site hasn't seen a facelift since it started in 2006, and it is not easy to navigate. This online Risk site has seen better days. The community is still strong, but out of control discussions about politics and religion plague the forums and the concept of playing Risk online has been forgotten. Not surprisingly the active user base have been trending downwards for a couple years.
I can post the actual URL, if this gets any attention.

Yes, naturally that websites sole reason for existence is to funnel people to their own game. I checked out that site two years ago or so, pretty dead as I recall. Played two months or so and then got bored.jusplay4fun wrote:Yes, I wondered who these "Reviewers" are and what their "agenda" is. i'd eat my hat if the CC clan scene were 1/10th as vibrant as it was...-BjArama86n wrote:And I'll eat my hat if any of them have a clan-scene a tenth as vibrant as this one.

I've been there too. In terms of design they're far better than CC, but they're inherently inferior imo. Very few maps, very few players and very poor server quality last time I was there, not to mention that forum activity.jusplay4fun wrote:NOT sure how relevant this is: I tried the recommended website from that review: I went to website Major Command.
It looked like I had 2-3 games on their basic map, if the world. I posted a question twice on their Help/Chat room, waited for answer both times, for about 30 minutes...NO answer; question disappears after 30 minutes, it seemed.
They do have video tutorials at the start for optional training. THAT is something we may want to do....
Have not started a game there yet.

We may not be as vibrant as it was, but we are definitely more than 1/10th vibrant as it was.

i'd like to point out that after this exchange, my clan had it's status removed, without any warning or notification... CC, back to it's old ways... part of what began the great decline and apparently, the new guys haven't learned from the past transgressions of former team members...-Bjowenshooter wrote:um, i have... many prominent clan members... they agree with me.. and sorry about your LITTLE butt not knowing how to say, "sorry about your little butt." however, you get some points for the effort...-Jésus noirDonelladan wrote:omg. when you don't think the clan wars are what they should be or as good as they used to be, why participate? the clan wars are garbage now, compared to what they were... and i challenge anyone to explain tribes to me...-Bjriskllama wrote:don't "clans" actually have to play games against other "clans" to be considered a "clan", owen? sounds to me like you got yourself a nice little usergroup there...
