This may be a bad idea, but if we can't have 8 or 16 participants why not do a round robin tournament, that way there are no byes and all have equal chance?

it doesn't look doable. with 10 clans round robin would take like 2 years to finish, way too long.

Sorry guys but I just can't stand the tinkering that's going on with this tournament.

It was mean't to be run along the same lines as the 1v1, but it's morphing into something else. We can now have 1 player playing in 4 home and 4 away sets !!!!!

it's not 4 + 4. limit is still 4 total (w/out tie-breaker).

Yes basically the only thing that changed is from a best of 5 to a best of 3 to have less games to play and attract more clans.
Also some restriction about the setting ( unlimited for example).

What I was asking, and hasn't been accepted yet I think, is that someone can play 4 games, either 4 homes, or 4 away, or 2 away and 2 home, or 3/1, total 4 games, but doesn't matter if home or away. But that was a personal request because I think as long as we put 4 games max per player it doesn't matter if they are home or away.
But no one speak about 8 games per players - that is a misunderstanding.

Limit is 4. the question is how flexible we wanna be with 2/2 split?
once, in random league, I gave 3 home and 1 away sets to one of my guys
by mistake. I didn't gain any advantage or lose anything by doing so.
if a player uses all 4 for home series then that player is not available for away
games.

I think 4 max is easier for the clans with 10-12 guys (use them where they can as most will get maxed). It keeps them competitive.

For the rest it's probably not a big difference, I'm fine either way for FALL. 4 or 2/2.

Hey, I am just wondering, why does it make a difference ? It's not such a big deal, as IcePack said, it's just to make it easier for me in case I need it, definitely not essential.
Btw the 2/2 or 4 always been negotiable from the OP. At the moment the default rule is 2/2 and if both clan agree they can make it 4 max but doesn't matter away or home.

I am fine with it anyway, but just wondering why it matter for some people.
