So I got to thinking.... Who are the top 5 players on CC? There are so many great ones over the years that to pick a top 5 overall would never work. So I will break it down into a few Simple top 5 list. In no order....

Hi Blitz.

I can't comment on some of the players you've mentioned, but I think CoF and Josko earn their spots without doubt. I prefer to look at the versatility of a player, in which case I'd be inclined to say Donelladan is currently the best active player across the board.

quite possible that he is. I would say poomaker is the est overall player ever, but he is too far removed from the game for most people to know. Since we are talking overall my list would get harder to pick.

why? i think it is far more interesting to compare everyone... but where is the freestyle list? Rabiton(?) went like 800 in a row without a loss... where is mr. "sorry about your little butt"? no way he isn't top five in multiple categories. putting it a 3, leaves out so many options, but i see why you did it. however, you need to add freestyle... and as far as team games go, the top two have been and always will be
superrag and mikisdios, period... again, add freestyle and keep it at 4 categories, that will work. and where is BLITZAHOLIC?!!! WHERE IS HE?!!! give him an *, but he belongs on ALL of these lists, especially if you have BW on there!! the black jesus has spoken...-Jésus noir

Owen did you miss the first post? There is a top 5 freestyle list. Rabbit was a great player, but he farmed noobs aka ?'s to get 100+ wins in a row. Today that could not happen.

Superrag and mikisdios are great team players and maybe the best doubles dou also. I left them off my list due to the lack of them playing little else besides doubles. Quads annd triples? rarely.

Blitz would have made the team game list had there not been these 5 players. He is number 6. Which is sick to think about THOTA, with sjnap, blitz and BW all in the same clan at the same time.

am i missing something? is doubles not a team game? anyway, you have them on the list now, so i feel much better... as far as freestyle, tough call, the game has been ruined by rule changes and that community is gone. sigh... interesting list... Dako is one of the most under-rated players on the site. One of the very best team players I've played with or against for what that is worth.

What i think is hard is your never sure unless you've teamed with them, who is the brains in the opposition.

Here is what a say to your post in a few statments.

Foxglove and Josko are both active. Foxglove is playing games with S&M and Jokso is playing poly games (Those are the same as team games)

Blitz was a great player, but I would take those 5 over him. Same for Master Fenrir

Jorki is old school indeed. Look him up

Loutil's body of work has been good so I rate him in the top 5 still playing.

Sjnap and Big Whiskey indeed were great players, but they did not run THOTA. We all know Blitz ran it, but those are 2 players I would take over him.

Foxglove was never THOTA. Always KORT/ S&M

Loutil has managed to drag my butt to some team victories (and if you saw some of the crap I come up with you'd know that's no small feat) so yeah he is very good.

Bog Whiskey is / was brilliant. There is just no way around it. Anytime he was on the other side you were going to be in for a good fight.

Even though I made Conqueror playing 1v1 freestyle, without a foe list, so open to anyone that cared to join... even though I spent hours everyday for a year practicing with my mouse, simulating exacting movements and clicks on maps to hone my accuracy and speed to the point that I wore a hole in my hardwood desk.

Despite this Bruceswar would never acknowledge my status as a top FS player because of personal reasons.

Demonfork, Why would I leave you off any list for any personal reasons? This is news to me. I honestly did not know you were still playing games. As statedI have no idea who is still active anymore. Since this is the case, then you can take out Pixar and put you in.

I am definitely not a pro freestyler. I play(ed) it some times and I am ok but def not in the top. You might want to replace me by JCKing.

Looking at your top 5 active team players, I see 3 members of S&M and 3 TOFU.
I think this is biased. You should be able to find players from other clans that can equal them, especially seeing last clans wars/clan league results.

Foxglove and Josko are both active.

Side note, foxglove is currently deadbeating the 3 non-team games he has, so I am guessing he is taking break or having some issues.

I really don't have the knowledge required to put a non team or freestyle list together for myself because I'm so far removed from those types of games.

I'll try coming up w a team list, I was just interested in seeing some peoples lists of current players as opposed to the handful of old players debating who used to be the best which isn't relevant to most people who are still around
