I will accept Reserves but they will only be used for the first set of games. If I get five reserves you will be entered in the tournament.
This is a Tournament Players Association Year 6 [TPA6] event, and is governed by its rules, guidelines, and judgments which are detailed here: https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewt ... 9&t=215395
All are welcome to join and participate in the association. You do not need to do anything more than join one or more of the TPA6 events that will be announced on Mondays. Check back on the scoreboard to see how you're doing:
Games will be issued one per week to a maximum of three going at the same time. Thus freemiums are welcome if you keep three slots for the tournament.
Games are to be picked up within twenty-four hours. (If you have a sitter please tell them that they are allowed to accept tournament games.) If necessary I will adjust game sizes to reflect the reality of players who drop. Failure to pick up game 7, will result in the next highest qualifier being offered the game.
Exceptions to this
As always, if you suspect there might be a problem, tell me, and in most cases things can be worked out. I am very willing to work around real life if you tell me. I have held games, sent second invites, etc., when I know. Just a short note that says RL has me tied up until Thursday is sufficient. PM, wall, text message, carrier pigeon, something. Just let me know.
First three rounds are five player games. Match ups by random.org. Must win a game in first three rounds to move to round 4. No eliminations in Round 1,2, or 3, unless you kill the wrong person, then you are eliminated immediately.
Round 4, 5, 6, will be players who have won in the first three. The following size games will occur.
Game size rounds 4-6
If 20, 15,10, or 5 survivors then 5 player games
if, 23, then 3 - 6 player games and 1 five
if 22, then 2- 6 player games and 2- five
if, 21, 14, or 7 then 7 player games
if 19, then 2 - 6 player games and 1 seven
If 13, one 7 and one 6 player game
if 24, 18, 12, or 6 then 6 player games
if 11, one 6 and one 5 player game
8, then 4 person games
if, 23, then 3 - 6 player games and 1 five
if 22, then 2- 6 player games and 2- five
if, 21, 14, or 7 then 7 player games
if 19, then 2 - 6 player games and 1 seven
If 13, one 7 and one 6 player game

If necessary the following tie breakers will be used.
Tie Breaker
Early kills will count more. So for purposes of the tie breaker, and only for the tie breaker:

If still tied, then random.org will scramble the first six maps and the same point system as above will be applied to those who are tied. If necessary this will be done a second time.
If still tied, then random.org will generate a number between 3 and 13. The person whose player name has a total number of characters (including spaces, hyphens, stars, etc) closest to that number wins.
