Couldn't care less. Rank is more important than medals.blakebowling wrote:What do you think about the current medals system?
How could we improve medals or the idea behind them?
There are tournaments with conquer credit-awards where you can earn free premium.clangfield wrote:I suppose freemiums (freemia ?) who acquire sufficient medals could be awarded premium.

They were when The Crown was chasing youGilligan wrote:as the user with the most medals....I don't know what to select. are they important to me any more?

how about you buy yourself a premium instead of spamming cc everywhere to try and get premium or more slots to play? damn cheapstakes.clangfield wrote:Couldn't care less. Rank is more important than medals.blakebowling wrote:What do you think about the current medals system?

Whatever system you have though, if there is advantage to be gained from it, someone will try to cheat it or find a way round it.

I will give you some validity to that. But even when he was a single medal behind, I started to care less and less.Keefie wrote:They were when The Crown was chasing youGilligan wrote:as the user with the most medals....I don't know what to select. are they important to me any more?![]()

Why do you care about tournament organizer medals ?? They don't mean anything anyone can get one with very little work its not a sign of skill or ability it just means you have free time. It should be taken off the medals page.waauw wrote:I don't really care much about the ordinary medals, sure they make me happy once I've obtained a new one, but I would not start games with the mere objectif of chasing after one.
What I do care about is the special medals: Tournament organizers, tournament winners, general achievement, ... Purely because I have so few or none of them.
Though I have to admit, when I initially started playing CC the ordinary medals were very important to me. Now, they are so common to me, I don't really care.
So yeah, I I think it's "the grass is greener on the other side" kind of thing.
I don't know. It just feels tremendously good when you put a lot of effort into organizing a tournament, therefor contributing to the community on the website and then get rewarded with a medal to show it off.Stephan Wayne wrote:Why do you care about tournament organizer medals ?? I've only ever organised one non-clan tournament. There were 48 players and well over 200 games involved, I felt I deserved that medal. On the other hand it takes virtually no effort to churn out tourney after tourney of 8/16 player single game knockouts.waauw wrote:I don't know. I'm not saying it's rational, but it's just how I feel about it.

I take back my statement your right it is good to be rewarded and with you agreeing its not rational i guess that means it makes more scene. The medal stands but only for fun not accomplishment.waauw wrote:I don't know.
