Comments:Hello there CC i dont know if this is concider cheating/abuseing but it should be,one of are team members is gone and wont be comeing back...in the mean time one of there team members is makeing are guys moves and is just droping 18 stacks in pointless spots that they cant even attack from.There account sitter tankgirl99 is in the same clan as the acussed and now they arent even takeing are guys turns or saying who is account sitting on there side.Its just a really messy game and should be a wash,thanks for your time.

no, you got that wrong. however, it took me forever to figure out what he was saying. apparently, a member of the other team passed away, steve the mighty. and members of his clan are taking his turn. if you look in the chat, they are all posting which player in his clan is taking the turn (some of the turns). they missed one turn, due to all the confusion of this guy passing away and people in his clan trying to get it together and cover his turns (only 9 active games). i don't think one missed turn is an abuse. and in the chat, they apologize for the bad, drop, etc... they have even less of a complaint, because they have a member of the same clan on their team. it is just a weird situation. you have a member of the other team in the same clan as steve, and took his turn and steve's turn!! that is really jacked up in a big fog game!!! is it really poor form? hell, yes. if i'm playing a team fog game, i don't want someone on the other team hopping onto my side, reading my chat and seeing where everyone is and then hopping back to the other side. pretty sure this is going to be noted or warned... it is just a mess...-Jésus noir

Ok fixed the links. After reading this and the game's chat I think I understand what is going on, but it would appear that your anger is more addressed to tankgirl99, who I guess is account sitting after Steve The Mighty died. I do agree something is not right in this game but it is just a mess. The game's chat is even worse than the complaint.

if CC can check our private emails they will see that i emailed Troy43 and crazystef to no longer chat in game because there were clan members taking turns for the deceased player and our player (i guess he was moving or something). to say we are cheating is crazy. we are trying to figure out who is taking who's turn too.

Should I be blamed for taking my turn? I simply took my turns as well as Troy43. In fact for several turns i have been feeding my troops to Pink (aussie02) just to keep him alive. CC should be able to read all the team chat and if they can read the PMs they will see that we (crazystef, Nailsale, Troy43) have nothing to do with the player changes. I dont think Aussie02 or Tankgirl or the other two or three players that were filling in tried to cheat either...i think there was confusion in the RET clan trying to fill in. I was concerned about on player taking turns for both sides thus the PMs going forward.

I think that team 1 has been playing poorly (they were getting beat before this started) and they don't like getting beat by some cooks (as tommygun's unintelligible rant indicates).

Ok so let me see what is what in this clusterfuck. From what I can tell someone is account sitting for Aussie02 for some undisclosed reason. Steve died and his fellow clan members were account sitting for him. The people who are account sitting for Aussie02 and Steve The Mighty are from the same clan (RET). At some point tankgirl99 was sitting on both accounts, which caused a problem with team 1 (riverj, Success, tommygun64, Steve The Mighty). Success and tommygun64 saw this as cheating or something that warranted a report on this forum. However riverj is also a member of the same clan which for sake of argument could have taken over for steve. Unless there is some secret discussion that took place between the members of team 2 (the players accused) where team 1's strategy was revealed or intentional sabotage was planned, this does not appear to be a case of cheating. It looks like a giant mismanagement on the part of the RET clan over what to do with Steve The Mighty's ongoing games.
It might be necessary for players to not take part in account sitting for two or more players in a game if those players are opponents as this creates a conflict of interest.

Team 1, we are not going to agree on who was winning before all this started...we were rolling and had good things lined up before all this went down. granted i mowed into an easy yellow target for one or two turns before i even realized what was going on but Troy 43 was already running with it. if i did not have to keep feeding Aussie troops i would have been further along (no disrespect Aussie).

this is funny. ya just gotta have fun with it. cheating - no. mismanaged...yeah, i would say so.

i do not think it is right that someone else takes turns for an absent player, clan or no clan. that does leave the door wide open for abuse. I do not think that RET attempted to do anything wrong here as someone previously posted. just a mess up. and, as also noted, team 1 has (had) two members from the same clan. for Tommygun and Success to accuse team 2 of cheating is nothing but soap opera drama.

Hi everyone, I'm the main active leader of Retribution. I don't really have the time to go through these discussions. What I can say is that some of us, Retribution members, had numerous discussions about what we should do regarding Steve the Mighty's remaining games, as we wanted to honor him in some way, without being unfair towards his opponents. I don't think we were really prepared for this situation. We knew that Steve had lung problems, but didn't realise the severity of his conditions. I suggested that we sit for him in our active clan games, but that we don't sit all his other games, including tourneys. That doesn't mean that everyone agreed with my suggestions though. tankgirl99 is a fair player who I have full confidence in, and I very much doubt that she would have purposefully cheated in the mentioned game.

As is written in the log this was a mistake i made which I held my hands up to. I was sitting both players at the time, obviously Steve died, and Aussie was moving house. Unfortunate timing but all was pre arranged.

I didn't cover steves first moves on that game, I don't know who did. I came in to find it a mess. When I was going through Aussies turns I just didn't realise I had taken a turn for the other team, if I had I wouldn't have taken the turn. I read the notes and yes, Aussie was in a bad position. I cant remember any of the other notes and I certainly wouldn't try to abuse my knowledge.

In chat I explained my error, tommygun said fine, can't remember if team 2 said anything. I also said I would make sure I didn't take the turns for Aussie as I know he has other sitters also. I also asked team 1 to let me know when Steve's turn was due as I wasn't necessarily logging in every day.

I took a couple more turns for Steve reading the instructions left and next thing I know there's a massive rant left by tommygun saying not to bother just deadbeat so I didn't play anymore turns.

Yes, I made a mistake, but all was explained and no one at the time made much of a complaint.

Stumbled across this randomly and thort...Steve the Mighty??? ...one of my first opponents back in 08...about 80 games mainly v early in our "careers" (ed:=sic) while it's good in a way that his Clan tried to keep his games going,,,wtf...the man died (reportedly) ...Death creates confusion amongst immediate family, God(Ed:sic) only knows what it creates amongst e-friends on a gaming site. "Retire" the game with NIL statistics for or against...I knowq some have posted that CC says it can't but that is bullshit...it is only a few lines of code (my 16 year old daughter says it would be easy enough...one of my ex-wifes who is a HTML guru says 30 seconds)...is the problem about precedent? Given that CC's current owners have takien a lot of flak aabout where they are seen as moving the site it would be brand positive to create the precedent and show its not just abpout the bucks...For f*ck sake guys (and Gals) it's a game...a bloody good one but hey?
