They were... if you look at each post you can see what thread it was from and what each developed intoKeefie wrote:I agree, they are separate topics.BGtheBrain wrote:Wow

What world do you live in where you have some sort of right to know when bigWham is or is not on vacation, and will or will not be available to answer your specific question? He is not going to tell you, no one is going to tell you, because it is none of your goddamn business. Stop pretending like you matter.BoganGod wrote:Mets, thank you so much for taking time out from banging your single issue drum. I don't give two shakes of a diseased rhythm stick what BW does with his personal life. Never asked about that, don't want to know. Do want to know when he is getting back, as he appears to be the only person able/authorized to clarify this muddy mess. Back to your tub thumping kiddo.
is this correct can admin confirm thisWPBRJ wrote:okay let me see if i am understanding this correctly because threads are popping up all over the place about various membership
RIP OFFS!!!!!!
if you gift a membership it cost $39.00
if i buy a membership for yourself the only way you get a $29.00 price is if i go onto auto renew wow this really sucks
if i just buy a membership for myself i have to buy credits and it will cost the same as a gift membership for $39.00
wow this site is really working hard on how to SCREW its members!!!!
keep up the good work soon we will all be paying ungodly amounts to play this silly game and soon this site will be a ghost town because if it wast declining before it sure will be declining with the way its going now!!!!
Ok 1st off BoganGod already said he dose not give a rats ass about BW personal life But if BW is the only person that can resolveMetsfanmax wrote:What world do you live in where you have some sort of right to know when bigWham is or is not on vacation, and will or will not be available to answer your specific question? There's no emergency here. We are talking about year long subscriptions. If BoganGod doesn't get his answer within the next two days, the world is not going to end.ScaryTeded wrote:Ok 1st off BoganGod already said he dose not give a rats ass about BW personal life But if BW is the only person that can resolveMetsfanmax wrote:What world do you live in where you have some sort of right to know when bigWham is or is not on vacation, and will or will not be available to answer your specific question? This is an excellent business strategy! may i suggest when/if big wham does return, he place this at the top of the cc home page.Metsfanmax wrote:There's no emergency here. i thought it was $39 if you use the tokens. and would only stay at $30 if you sign up for the auto-pay. which probably half of credit card users know is a trap and will not sign up for that.Metsfanmax wrote:Well you've been following the long-term decline right? With so few members left, I can see how he might feel like raising the subscription price is a legit way to retain some revenue at this point. He cannot be making much off the site by this point. He is presumably hoping that the people he loses because of it (which I think will be few, $30/year is still a reasonable price) are made up for by the additional premium revenue.

This. And just cancel the auto-pay after you buy it if you don't like it. Problem solved.Metsfanmax wrote:I don't understand what the big deal is with the recurring memberships. Recurring memberships are common on basically every gaming site I'm familiar with, so that you don't forget to resubscribe and then lose gameplay features or something. It is objectionable that people were never told that this change had occurred, but to me it is an obvious improvement to not have to remember when my subscription needs to be renewed.

recurring is for suckers. it' preys on people who are unorganized and will not moniter their credit card statement after they impulse charge for a month of cc and play 5 games then leave. good for big wham, bad for my perception of his practices. some people like it, but most sites understand that some don't so they also offer a non-recurring option. unfortunately conquer clubs next option is 10 bucks more (30%). i'll never sign up for a recurring anything. and no matter how affordable 40 dollars a year is, it's just silly to pay that for a gaming site.Metsfanmax wrote:I don't understand what the big deal is with the recurring memberships. you got in before my response, but my point is, he's doing this because he knows folks will not cancel. to me that's shady. people will be paying for cc years after they logged in, and that's where he'll make his money.JamesKer1 wrote:This. Confederate, there are many many other ways to get credit besides buying them... join the society of super guides and be an active member gets me 200 credits a month, use your stars to enter auto tournaments that offer credits as prizes. Plus it may be an intial $39 or 40 if you are one of the few with 0 credits to start with, but you will have credits left over after the purchase.. Those credits do not disappear but stay in your CC bank account, so future purchases cost less.ConfederateSS wrote:Willy, that wouldn't be so bad..But the dumb ass..Tried the run around approach.30 ,but gifts are 40.That's what's fucked up..Man know you got us southern Gentlemen pissed off.Making me use bad words..shame.shame.Whammy...If you wanted to raise prices.Just come out and say $40.00 for everyone..Be honest dumb ass..Even 50 wouldn't be so bad.But don't forget..We are Conquer Clubbers. My God you might of gotten away with that crap. With the mindless zombies playing candy crush but not us....Remember who your people are next time you try to be slick..ConfederateSS.out!

How does one cancel the auto pay? This frankly pisses me off if I've been put on an auto-pay. I religiously avoid auto-pays.JamesKer1 wrote:This. And just cancel the auto-pay after you buy it if you don't like it. Problem solved.

I believe it is done in your account section in the store. If you have an active subscription you can cancel it here https://www.conquerclub.com/player.php?mode=accountViperOverLord wrote:How does one cancel the auto pay? Yea, I just did it in the account. But as I was exploring it through paypal just now, I didn't like that it said 'agree and continue.' That typically means that there is another screen. It should say 'make payment' or something to that effect. Now, I paid for a premium 4 months early when that was not my intent.TeeGee wrote:I believe it is done in your account section in the store. Actually it isn't. They are both 3500 credits. At the moment the only way to gift membership is through credits. if there is enough people request subscription gifting then I am sure wham will price match current subscription prices.ViperOverLord wrote:Credits costing different rates at different prices....okay.
But there's still two troublesome issues.
1. Gifting someone premium from your account is roughly $35, which is $5 more for why?
2. Even at the higher rate, one has to buy a bunch of credits at more than $35; and that is very inconvenient, especially for members who are not seeking to go the credits route.
