I agree wit Lord Arioch I hate facebook and do not have an account. Are you saying that I have to start a facebook account to be eligible for this!? Can I get a free Premium membership for never ever having a facebook account in the first place? Otherwise I feel that this goes against my beliefs that "I don't believe in Facebook":-/ And for the record I am not getting into facebook just to get a free year subscription from CC for selling out people I know because they clicked the be my friend button(assuming that is how it works). It is just morally wrong to turn myself into a marketing tool for CC. But people that I know that I know would enjoy CC I tell them about it and consider it passing it along by word of mouth. But using facebook to tell as many people as possible even if you know them or not or if they will like CC or not is a bit like being a marketing monkey for CC and it is not as genuine to invite someone anymore:-/ Thoughts?

I'll admit that I'm a mod and I won't be using my FB account to promote CC. I don't post any of my gaming activity on Facebook. I don't want my friends knowing I'm an even bigger nerd than they imagined. I also do not promote the other site I am involved with either, nothing personal. Dunno why you guys are so bothered. Join tournaments and win credits if you want free premium, and don't like FB.

Firstlt, thanks for your support BC. Do you get your friends to sign up using your referral link? Did you know we give incentives if they make purchases and joined using your link? You can find your unique code in the CC store

Personally I think that facebook has quite a few issues that they need to work out but that is off topic and part of the reason I no longer have a facebook. As for this method to get new players, I think that it is a great idea in todays environment but you would almost need to make it in a way that stands out a bit more from other "join our site" ads. As for the members complaining about seeing this thread, it shouldn't be around for that long unless they post this every month (hopefully not) so you may as well put up with it for a bit and as for the organization of your clan's personal forums then I think who ever has control of that needs to handle that themselves instead of complaining about it.
