ace, fall and osa need just 1 win to clinch their war wins; so basically all rounds of 16 matchups are decided, except for RA v MYTH as these 2 clans are late as shit on schedule.

Updated the bracket...photbucket's editor leaves a lot to be desired on text sizing! RA vs Myth is the only Rd of 32 match ongoing.

haha! we finished 2 rounds and your oponent is still not determined for round 2! it sucks to be you and to face violet again!

i'll be reading that new atlantis vs ra thread with interest!

ps: myth and ra didn't even give the game numbers for their batch 2, so TOs can't even check if the war is over on the clan tab!

Yeah, I can see the 5 remaining games and will know when there is a winner. Not my job to bug them about posting anymore.

I don t know what you guys have been waiting for with TNC. You were already super late because the CC4 finals were held much later than expected. Tofu vs mm started a month ago.
Normally each year the quarter finals are finished by christmas, this year some round of 16 matchups don t even have a thread mid november..
And RA vs ATL... I don t even know if cheme is taking care of this tourney or if it s a CD. But I smell trouble there to get it started in 2014.

Cheme is still running the event, CD's are watching as needed.
ATL vs RA CD's are discussing with currently w/ cheme I believe.
Schedule changes moving forward also discussed recently.

I know, just saying that TOFU was in the same situation and started a month ago. It just feels like this tourney isn't fully taken care of since what they did to cheme.
I think the tie breaker rule for the tofu vs ace situation was very dumb. Wars are supposed to be in 61 for a reason, that was basically making an extra long war even longer with 4 batches and delayed the whole thing by a couple of more monthes.
If the tournament is supposed to last a year we definitely need to make some changes, such as making the round of 32 and the round of 16 in just 2 batches and a single tie breaker game for all rounds. It just feels like this cup is each time longer. The CC4 lasted like a year and a half and I wouldn't be surprised if the CC5 lasts 2 full years when it's supposed to be a yearly tourney. 3 month after we started a round of 16 some haven't even started their thread. I'm just saying this because for the CL6 there are some very harsh rules to have everything done on time with penalties, while too much freedom and almost no cotrol is given for the CC5.
Not to mention that RA vs MYTH weren't in the CC4 advanced rounds and have started super late and have delayed the whole tourney on their brackets.

This^^. ATL and RA are scheduled to start November 20.

Other than that, as the Clan Tournament Director I am currently looking into some of the issues mentioned with regards to CCup5 and we are indeed discussing some of those in the CD team.

I'll report back here soon.

Keefie is added as a TO. He will help chemefreak with the general organization.

One of his immediate tasks is to make sure the ATL vs RA war goes smoothly, so this tournament can proceed sooner rather than later.

Now, in case anybody has a problem with this tournament in the future (or any clan tournament, for that matter), the way to deal with that is as follows (in steps):

Contact the TO or TOs. Merely posting in the tournament thread may not always help much.

If the TO or TOs don't respond or are not solving the problem:

Contact the Clan Tournament Director: Lindax

If you're not happy with my actions and/or decisions:

Contact the Head Clan Director: Leehar

Good to see someone clearly and succinctly spell out how things stand. Am disappointed that a CD will not be running the ATL vs RA thread. Would preempt a few potential issues. Lets just say am observing with interest how current CDs and TOs handle a master procrastinator at the height of her powers.

If all else fails, let betiko fix things. He/she has all the answers!
