As you previously stated, your games started well before the deadline.
Most games are going to start well before the 10 day deadline.
The 10 days is the cut off before the games are dropped and forfeits issued.

There are 5 days for home games and 5 days for away games. In the Qualifying Phase it was 3 days and 3 days. That obviously wasn't enough, not even with the help of DDs, to get the games filled. Many games were forfeited and several clan disqualified.

That's why we decided for 5 + 5 days, especially since there are no DDs anymore.

I still don't understand your problem with it though. You can create, post and fill your games on Sunday and post and fill your away games as soon as they are posted, you don't have to wait 10 days. What is actually the problem with the 10 days as opposed to 6 days?
