Implement a billboard for all the forum blowhards to spam their collective crap on the front page. Fix issues? BOB. Clickable Maps. Stupid Panels. Paying users that have been on here for years are ignored, make the game harder to play (which, in case you couldn't figure it out, makes it less enjoyable) but by all means give a megaphone to a dozen yahoos that don't really care about playing the game. Your settings is where you will find your off/on button for Global Chat. I don't mind Global Chat, and when I've been drinking and I get a mod threat because I typed the word "bitttch" into their chat and it bypasses the filter...how does that become really my problem? Filters are of no use, kids swear more than adults. So, quit calling me immature because I like to say "cunnt", "fuccck", or "bittttch" (and whatever else is filtered out). If they want me not to say those words, CC should post the words they don't want me to say...I will gladly not say them. But if I accidentally make a typo on the word "fucccck", don't threaten me with a ban...especially when I've been banned for three FUCCCKIN Years for absolute FUCCCK! The only reason why I even considered coming back and paying premium was because owenshooter emailed my ass. Now I am getting threats about being banned for something as stupid as dancing around the Global Chat filter?

Have you ever heard of "a time and a place for all things"? School, government offices, public locations, your moms house - all places you should, without being told, understand that being "crud, rude and unacceptable" would be frowned upon. I was a sailor for a dozen years, not much vulgarity you can say I haven't heard, but that doesn't mean I want my 9 & 11 year old's exposed more than necessary to said vulgarity. The forums aren't private, but they have to be searched through to find people acting like tools, whereas the ridiculous global chat is exposed to every new person that comes to the site. Did CC think there was going to be "Good Morning!" and "How's the tournament?" conversations? Stupid. Just shut it off.

Global chat is an important part of making the community feel like a community. I has already had an impact in the conversion of visitors to members, and despite some complaints, it is proving increasingly popular among established members, too.

People who engage in needless vulgarity are the exception, not the rule. If it's mild, they can safely be ignored. Nobody will die from seeing the occasional shit or cunt on the screen. If it's chronic and they can't seem to grasp the concept of civilized behaviour, the chat mods can shut them down.

No need to worry. I've been warned. All is good. I cleaned my act up. I keep a Swear Jar beside the computer now and put a shiny nickel in it every time I type a curse word. I am sure young kids around the ages of nine or ten (or maybe even younger!) never curse behind their naive parents' backs. Heaven knows I never used swear words and thought it was cool when I was that age! Heaven forbid! I never tried to smoke a cigarette out in the barn either.
