there is a game mechanic that has been mentioned in here and in my town, and I have no idea if it's good or not; sounds like a third party thing to me.
I don't want the other town members to out themselves, so let me put it this way. I will ask firth to confirm here what he said in our town thread:

1) you want to lynch me and if I'm town I will be a minor sacrifice no matter my role
2) your priority is not to find scum, but doing something that sounds like a win condition.

there are 4 other witnesses to this; I had to paraphrase you, so leaving asside the "it's not exactly how I said it"; man up and admit those slips.

I'm eager to hear firth's response to this. Based on what I've heard, I would vote firth over betiko atm. Someone had mentioned that mafia often stay on point longer than town for consistency sake and firth appears to be dead set on lynching betiko despite his explanations. I suppose he could just not believe them, but firth seems to want to go straight to lynch without passing GO.

I'm having a hard time getting a read on jak. He seems to be playing his role as if everyone was given the same information from the outset, and has no problem stipulating the "facts" for the rest of us. For example:

Right now the facts are:

• 4 cities, 6 people in each city. Storr only confirmed there are 4 'locations'
• Iron Throne is out there. not enough information about what the Iron Throne is or its significance
• Betiko is protected from a lynch at the cost of his own vote. appears so, but no one has confirmed wtf happened
• Characters are not alignment indicative (but may be role indicative). Speculation; although I'm looking forward to jak claiming Gregor Clegane and saying that he's a BP vigilante
• Everyone must vote. Fact

Also, I'm trying to make sense of his argument with bunnies, who I'm leaning town, because it seems more like town on town violence than anything. Their argument seems to be over minor stuff but it has been draggin for like three pages now. It's detracting from the game imo.

For what its worth Jak is playing like Jak. He offers theories and wifo of me arguments. He can be annoying in that because he beleives something it makes his argument valid. Strike wolf summed it up nicely.

Umm... I'm sorry, but each game is different, just because you're town in one game doesn't make you town in the next. If you read my post, you'd see that I wasn't trying to lynch you here... just apply a little pressure to get you more active, with a caveat that I'm more than willing to change my vote if there is a better suggestion for it, or if you start being more active. If you had made a post or two like this before I voted, I wouldn't have voted you in the first place. And I don't think 2 votes on you equals a bandwagon yet. Although posting like that combined with a OMGUS vote can very easily create one on you.

So... with your reading of the thread, did you find any hints of possible third parties? Or any suggestions where else I should put my vote? I'm not allowed to vote for myself lol.

I think Crasp's potty mouth is all game play! He is a smart guy and I just don't believe it that he was really mad! With that said, I'm going to be changing my vote to Crasp! I would take a guess that he may actually be a 3rd party.

Also, I've never played with many of yall, so it helps me to see other opinions of players from players who have played with them.

I dont want to talk to much about the other guys as I only played a couple of games with them, but I will say to not stress about Jak as most of what he says comes across as arrogant and hypocritical, its how he plays.

Crasp went of the deep end, I dont like it. No use for town at all and more of a distraction than anything else. Either poor town play or scum, either way its the best lynch we have at the moment.

I still think Betiko is scummy but I will have to wait until he comes out of his stump before I can get him.

kgb and Jak I am watching as a scum pair. I didnt like the way the bunnies wagon started and developed, seemed emotionally driven and kgb should know better than to jump on a Jak wagon.

firstly, how is anything i've said 'filler'? my pointing out that someone has repeated what others has said without bringing forth any additional information, and saying it's just filler isnt just my opinion, it's fact. i have spoken about a good handful of people, and yes while that's not a lot its all i currently have at the moment. if you think i'm only 'fillering' then i will do my best to change that, i just disagree completely.

onto this role claiming business, how is it that someone can merely ask "are you happy with your role" and get fos'ed the fos out, but someone can outright, in multiple posts, ASK for a claim from someone or else he'll lynch them... and NOT be fos'ed? that's not okay with me.

I mentioned under your own definition it's filler because you made a pretty broad range of what is "filler" in this game.

Deadline is tomorrow, this game set-up does not require majority, just most votes. So the person on the block to be lynched has the best interest in claiming so that anyone voting can pull off before they are deadline lynched. It's common knowl... I shouldn't say that, "common sense is not so common", nor is common knowledge.

@ Bunnies, first off Jonty did not say such a thing, he said he FOS's us both. Second, I usually generate heat when I push for cases, some people stay completely quiet while I'm in game so that they can just FOS me and count it as "activity" (I know it's not the case for Jonty as he's been away), but people stay back and wait for me to make the first move as it's easy then to just say "Your case is no good" then hop on the easy bandwagon against me. I never mind it because I know I'm aggressive as hell. If I wasn't aggressive I don't think we'd be seeing some people as active as they are right now.

Right now Boone and Neb aren't high on my radar for D1, I'm narrowed a bit down to 2 people or the No Lynch. With under 24 hours left going after anyone else would be wasting everyone's time. I can easily go back on this day tomorrow and see if any flags are raised. (I guess you could say I am tunneling here as I believe it's a waste of time to build a case on others without any time to do anything with it).

@Strike Wolf. Of course I am interested in the cities. Mafia have no need to ask because they can ask their buddies in each city about all the info all of you have. The only people in the dark are Town and 3rd Party. While maybe there's a 3rd Party that needs info about the cities to do something, we also need that info.

I don't know why others aren't as interested in the cities as I am.

@Betiko, I am sort of iffy on it, but somehow I think Firth is a lyncher role. I'm iffy because there was a small case building on you at the time, but with how MUCH he's pushing as you say in the city, he could very well be a lyncher needing to lynch you to win, then he got all excited when there's a case building D1 on his target and zoom zoom zoom, aggressive to lynch you.

I assume the game mechanic is the Iron Throne thing. It sounds like there's someone looking for it. Mafia would know where it is with spies in each city, so it must be either a town or a 3rd party looking for it.

Sound like cities to me. Braavos, Kings Landing and Dread Fort are cities, I forget which city Storms End is but it's a city as well is it not?
The Iron Throne IS out there (that is a fact stating we know it's out there, but we don't know what it's for as of yet).
Again, just stating Betiko is protected from a lynch and voteless, we know that's a fact. Not the reason why.
Not speculation, Storr said it himself that characters will not determine faction. So as crazy as it is, Tyrion could be mafia, Cersei could be town and Joffery could even be town. That's all it's telling us.
All 5 points are facts, just we are not sure if any of them are important for us to use.

Argument with bunnies is just an argument. I'm pushing for pressure, she's trying to deflect. The thing that detracts from the game is others focusing on the argument and not adding anything constructive to it. Either add something to it or try to build up a better case against ANYONE else. (Right now I think Crasp inactivity case is not too shabby, but the other case on Firth is one that is drawing most of my attention away from bunnies and I'll probably leave my vote on Firth if nothing more comes from the argument with bunnies).

Wow... I missed Crasp's raging post due to it being mostly a quote I assumed I already read what was quoted but then went back to read after seeing Bunnies' comment. Looking at the voting thread (COME ON GUYS, SAY THAT YOU VOTE HERE AS WELL, helps us all out..) Looks like the noose around Crasp is tightening, so that means my small case on bunnies will not pick up any heat what so ever. So Unvote. It wasn't bad for a Day 1 case but there's bigger fish to fry now.

These 2 posts don't add up, in the first you are saying that voting crasp is your default, there is no mention of pressure. Only in the second do you mention pressure.

Ahh, Littlefinger, "the second most devious man in the Seven Kingdoms..." did you help yourself to Lord Robert's wine skin again? I believe you're likely Town (though I'm not sure there's enough suspicion of anyone else this late in the day to save you). I will note that my current vote, mtamburini, still hasn't responded to my and boone's pressure on him to speak up despite being on CC. So, if anyone wants to change their vote, I think tambo's a good option. Will also note that while he never commented on SW's proposed watch list, pershy was assigned to track mtamburini. I'm not going to call his failure to do so scummy at this point... but I think it would have been helpful for him to comment on tambo's absence.

I will never quite understand this. He gives us a half claim, says he's town and that's good enough for you Zivel? Under those circumstances, you would never vote anyone! All Iron has to do is come on here, say he's town and you'll unvote. Unless you know Crasp is town for sure, so you don't want to rock the boat by keeping your vote on him...FOS Zivel.

^Maybe I'm being a bit dickish, but Crasp essentially gave us no information. Nothing we can use to verify what he's saying is correct. Thus, we're still going into night with no information...well, we currently have a wagon and some history to work with on the voting. At this point, Crasp hasn't convinced me to unvote. He still hasn't even put in one ounce of effort on any reads, or other game situations.

Technical difficulties: Some "silly goose" ( Do you really call each other that naughty name.) flattened the junction box at the end of my street so i lost wi-fi for a couple of days. Was playing on my phone but the connection wasnt stable enough. kept timing out. During this time i put a post into QT that put the wrong info in the post. used it before and it must have auto logged me in. I deleted which as you know is a big no no then pm'd him to tell him what i had done and ask how to fix it. easy fix on a computer but try it on a phone. Posting and trying to read posts during this time was somewhat of a chore.
having not really participated much I stupidly put that post in of my thoughts to show some kind of interest which was then jumped on by the lynch brigade. Unfortunately for me yesterday was my last day at work as i start a new job on Monday so i went out with my colleagues for a few sherberts. Was supposed to be for a couple of hours but ended up in a closing time carnage. During this time i was accessing cc through the pub wi-fi and had started to post a response a few times but didnt get peace to do it. For some reason the more lager you drink the fatter your fingers become which didnt help either. This info has however festered away until i arrived home last night and went on the computer with the resulting abuse of the players on here. Not my finest hour.

I started the bunnies wagon and it went to a whopping two. Seems I recall a recent mafia game where you did exactly what bunnies did and flipped mafia. "Us Town" "We Town" Do you remember that game Zivel?
