Most of the time it s for self preservation aog. You get injured pretty easily in football, no pads or whatever. They often jump cause the worse injuries happen when their foot is still in contact with the ground.

Because in rugby they tacle the upper part of the body, in football they come with slided tacles with hard shoes at full speed on your heels. You can see some pretty nasty injuries in football. It s easy to call them pussies, but the truth is that making a full season with no injuries is very difficult.
A lot of them are, true. But wouldn t say the majority.
I beg to differ, some are not but in my experience the majority are. In other sports divers are looked down upon, in football they're accepted and constitute the majority of the pro football players.
AoG for President of the World!! I promise he will put George W. Bush to shame!
Thought a draw was a fair result. Brazil will beat Cameroon and as will Croatia and it will go down to the Mexico vs Croatia game for second as everyone expected. Mexico just need a point now which might be the key.

I thought it was an entertaining match, although I didn't really watch most of the first half. Sure, the skill level isn't as high as some of the other matches, but it was way better than Nigeria vs. Iran.
The Belgium vs. Algeria match was good. I almost started cheering for Algeria, but I'm glad Belgium won in the end. Mexico vs. Brazil was terrific. Ochoa made so many tough saves. Good result. Though I'm still hoping Croatia gets through over Mexico - sorry guys. Russia vs. South Korea wasn't too terrible, and it got interesting late. Definitely better than Nigeria vs. Iran - I don't know if there will be a match as awful as that one.
S. Korea's goal should never have gone in. Any Joe Schmoe off the street would have stopped it - believe me, I'm a keeper (albeit an amateur). I do feel bad for Akinfeev, though - he'll be reliving that for a long time to come.
